[edit] Re: Trains Importance task force

Not specifically. I see it more as part of an assessment task of the Article maintenance task force. I've been working from the first page of Cat:Unknown-importance rail transport articles, assigning importance as I go along. At the same time, I add any other maintenance parameters, such as unref, Imageneeded, etc., as well as subproject params as appropriate. Since I'm normally looking at only a couple at a time while I wait for things to compile, it's taken me quite some time to get even halfway through articles starting with A. The only thing to really watch out for is that an article's importance is gauged against the history and technology of rail transport worldwide. Slambo (Speak) 02:00, 7 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] email me, please

I did a quick look for train docs found at least one might be useful. You don't have an email address on Wikipedia. Ling.Nut (talk · contribs · email)

[edit] Page protection

Pages can't be protected by simply adding a tmeplate - an admin has to make the change. In the future when there is an article you think needs protection you should place a note at Wikipedia:Requests for page protection. I've gone ahead and applied the protection to the Pierce article. -Will Beback 01:14, 13 November 2006 (UTC)
