[edit] Can we change the image?

Does anyone object if I change the current 3D (or really anaglyph) icon with a regular one? That one looks terrible. It almost makes you feel unwell. El T 18:06, 25 June 2006 (UTC)

Yes, I do. The logo should not be the same as the regular commons logo. And the current logo does a good job visualizing what these 3d pics are about. The logo itself is an anaglyphic image. What could be more appropriate. And furthermore I got through all the hoopla to transfer IP ownership to the wikimedia foundation with written contracts etc. so I'd strongly suggest not changing it. --Dschwen 03:56, 26 June 2006 (UTC)
Can we please change the image? It's really bad to look at and it really doesn't make a difference how much work you had with making a bad article or other contribution. The relevant policy here is Wikipedia:Ownership of articles: If you don't want your material to be edited mercilessly or redistributed by others, do not submit it. --Fasten 13:28, 27 June 2006 (UTC)
What are you talking about? El T asked for feedback I gave it to him, no need to make the old If you don't want your material to be edited mercilessly or redistributed by others, do not submit it speech. If there is a consensus to change the pic, go ahead, but if I were you I'd discuss it on wikipedia:3D Illustrations first. Not many people read this discussion page. --Dschwen 21:30, 27 June 2006 (UTC)
