3D Discount
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
3D Discount stores was an Indianapolis, Indiana based chain of discount stores that operated in the 1970s and 1980s. As a division of Danners, Inc, it was the last remaining entity in the former Danners 5 & 10 retail family.
3D stores were similar to Kmart, and succombed to heavy competition from both Kmart and Wal-mart.
In 1986, there were 35 locations throughout Indiana, Illinois and Michigan.[1] The chain was sold to Indian L.P. in 1987[2], and by the end of 1987, only had 18 locations[3]
