I have more for the Fusion page, Gotenks, Spirit Bomb, 7 Star Dragons, Kaio and Kaioshin, Bebi, Buu, Janemba, Hyperbolic Time Chamber, Scanners, and Piccolo/Kami-Sama. They are all great visuals for their respective articles, alot of which I captured my self. Are you interested in the rest? Thanks again

Hey, I'm just here to say that I've put up Image:Wmxxguerrero.jpg and Image:Wmxxbenoit.jpg which you uploaded, up for deletion. Welcome to WikiProject Digimon Systems Update
Thanks for joining the Digimon Systems Update WikiProject!
Basically, being apart of a WP:DIGI means you'll help organize, expand, clean up, and guide Digimon related articles on Wikipedia. You can also help create guidelines and discuss issues about Digimon-related articles. If you're new, don't be afraid about making mistakes, Wikipedia has a lot to take in. Just use common sense and you'll usually be fine.
If you are unsure about something you can always make a note on an article's talk page (the link for each article's talk page is next to the edit this page link, labeled discussion) for asking for help or even just asking for other people's suggestions and feedback.
Remember to not violate copyrights, such as cutting and pasting exact info from other Digimon websites isn't allowed. Cite ALL information you add (where your information came from, such as an anime episode appearance, manga volume, card game info, etc). And remember that Wikipedia isn't a fan-site; the articles should contain information that is useful and interesting to those who have not seen the shows or played the card games.
Again, welcome to the WikiProject. Check out the links on the Project page and familiarize yourself with the guidelines and advice we have so far, and definitely check out the talk page and get involved there as well, with opinions and any ideas you have. And make sure you add the project page and the to do list to your watchlist so you can keep up to date with the Project. -- Ned Scott 04:21, 1 May 2006 (UTC)
California WikiProjects
As a California Wikipedian, you may be interested in the California WikiProject (and/or one of its 'daughter' Wikiprojects on Southern California, Santa Barbara County, California State Highways and California County Routes). Please take a look at the WikiProject to see if there is anything that interests you. If you have any comments or questions, feel free to contact me. If enough people express an interest, it would also be very easy to create additional daughter WikiProjects, such as a Northern California WikiProject or a California Politics WikiProject.
It has also more than seven months since the 2nd Los Angeles area Wikipedia meetup ([ 26 September]] 2005), so it is time for another one. There have also been California meetups in San Diego (18 October 2005) and a very small one in Santa Barbara (8 April 2006. It's also about time that the Bay Area gets its first Meetup if anyone is willing to organize it. BlankVerse 06:07, 28 May 2006 (UTC)

WrestleMania 23
Even though the event isn't for quite some time, the article continues to get vandalized almost daily with people posting their own versions of speculated matches. I fear that as the event draws near, more fans are going to target the article and fill it with nonsensical fancruft and crystal ball garbage. I monitor the article continuously to make sure that the article and its talk page don't turn into some forum for anonymous fans to post whatever they desire. It's the only way we can maintain the article's integrity. —№tǒŖïøŭş4lĭfė ♫♪
- I agree with you 100%. The article is subject to repeated vandalism and I am concerned over the potential increase of it as the event draws near. The same thing happened with last year's event. The talk page practically became the unofficial forum. The main WrestleMania article as well as other articles on upcoming events have been repeatedly vandalized by anonymous users adding fan links and "live coverage links"(see WWE Vengeance [1] and [2]). One user even had the nerve to add an "official" site for WrestleMania 24!([3]) Unfortunately, any request made to have it Semi-Protected will more than likely be denied as the article has "insufficient content" to protect as said by one admin I talked to recently about this matter. Until then, it's up to us to keep it clean. -- bulletproof 3:16 06:22, 25 June 2006 (UTC)
Dragon Ball timelines
I just recently saw the Dragon Ball Z timlines page, and saw there was a short, pointless debate on the movies. I think that the DBZ movies fit into timline 4, or their own timlines. If you read the article, it makes sense that movies 7 8 and 9 would be in the 4th timline. I think it should be mentioned if you agree with me, and if you don't it should say the DBZ movies don't have any timline to fit into. I wanted to ask somone with more knowledge of DBZ before editing it.KojiDude 18:34, 25 June 2006 (UTC)

Request to take Majin Buu to arbitration...
Snurk, snurk, snurk...
After doing a file report on WP:ANI that was lightly brushed away, administrators suggested taking the case to WP:ARB. The theory being, if User:Wiki-star is as bad as all out, he would shoot himslef in the foot (though he should be lookin' somethin' like the Black Knight by now). As a periphery, I don't feel it's right to act as a cornerstone. Would you organize it?
I'm posting this to several parties involved in this 'lil get-together at Majin Buu, so let them know if you get to it first or decline please. This looks to be our final measure. Papacha 06:09, 26 June 2006 (UTC)
Vandalism?
How is removing a bunch of insults and conversation irrelevant to the topic vandalism? That other guy is the one who was vandalizing the talk page with his name-calling. I removed all that for a reason. Please don't just revert things because you think they're vandalism when they aren't. Thanks.
Daishokaioshin 16:05, 27 June 2006 (UTC)
- You know, I already "stopped" and would have accepted your explanation without the threat of blocking. We've worked together to improve articles, even if we didn't specifically talk to each other about it, and have fought against TRUE vandals like Wiki-star. I respect you as an editor, but I don't like being threatened like that when I tried to approach you on the subject politely and calmly, and did NOT revert things back to the way they were before you reverted my changes. You may be used to dealing with all the Wiki-stars here on Wikipedia, but I am not one of them. Try to keep that in mind, please.

- Alright. Thanks for explaining that. Sorry if I came across as annoyed, but I don't like going straight from Wiki-star to someone else who decides he has something prove and starts flinging insults and poorly-conceived arguments at me because I mentioned that the Daizenshuu are not a canon source of information. They are extraneous, and whether the "fandom" (which tends to be full of wackos with all kinds of theories on this, that, and the other thing, that aren't backed up anywhere in canon) accepts them as true or not is of no consequence to me. I'm not interested in debating this point, however, except on my talk page, which I have attempted repeatedly to direct that other user towards. If you could assist in communicating with this other user if he continues his insult-throwing and refusal to drop the subject, I would appreciate it, as I don't need the stress that comes from trying to deal with stubborn and egotistical individuals. I edit on Wikipedia to improve Wikipedia. Not to have someone who doesn't know me try to tell me I don't have a life or whatever he was babbling about. Thanks for your time.

Then, my arguments are undisputable (and the proof is that Dai' couldn't say anything more than insulting me). And I won't tolerate that Daishokaioshin tries to insult me again, for the 3rd time, after having polluted the talk page of the article, and my own talk page. Sorry Daishokaioshin, but this time you're wrong about the Daizenshû. That's all. It's not the end of the world, and anyway this matter doesn't deserve all this violence from you. You can't know everything about DB, even if you seem to know a great deal, you have your flaws. That's why we're on Wikipedia, meaning that everyone can give his share of correct things: we're simply not on your webpage, Dais', which would mean, whether you're right or wrong, that your point of view would be the only one. But here, there are other people than you, and they can also be right. I was right about the daizenshû, and, see, you're still alive. So why all these troubles ? Why do you have this need to insult people when they are right ?
To 3bulletproof16, I don't need any warning, I'm the victim here, I was just trying to explain to Dais' that on Wikipedia, everybody has the right to have an opinion, even if it's not the same as some people who think they are the only one to know something Folken de Fanel 16:58, 27 June 2006 (UTC)

- Sorry but I'm not stubborn, I just wanted apologies from Daishokaioshin for her insults on my page, not "apologies" in which she implies that I misunderstood her. I just asked her to remove the insults on my page and to apologize for these insults. I don't think it's much. Yet she refused to do so. Anyway, the problem is solved in a way, if she keeps her word she won't try to attack me anymore, I don't wan't much more than that. But before we can really close the "case" she has to apologize for having harassed me since yesterday. She can't do everything she want and then not facing the consequences. DBZ Wiki and Folken
Alright. Since Folken has decided to start being polite (mostly), even if he has begun denying that we ever spoke before (in addition to denying that he ever insulted me, which is dillusion as far as I'm concerned, considering he kept calling me a racist for mentioning that there may have been a communication barrier between us based on what language each of us is familiar with, amongst other things) I think that some progress can finally be made. He has tried a couple more times to start things with me, but I've shut him down by being polite and pointing out his own errors. He may not be a bad person, but he has left an impression on me, much like Wiki-star, that will take time to correct, through discussion and civility. Let's hope that he continues to be polite rather than resorting to name-calling, and such.
On the other subject you posted about, the DBZ wiki, I'm not sure how to go about it. Is there some place where one can get the source-code for producing one's own wiki project? Do you need a web server? It's going to be a lot of work to compile all the information about Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z on this thing. Should we draw upon wikipedia to start us off, and then work from there? What kind of rules are you thinking about, in terms of what content can be provided, what levels of canon to accept, etc.? Should extraneous and unreliable sources like the daizenshuu be included in an attempt to put correct information somewhere? Or is this going to be a compendium of "all-things-Dragon-Ball-regardless-of-canonicity"? A wiki isn't a place to post fan things, so having a fan fiction section where people can submit stories, while it would be appealing to me, since I am a writer, would not truly belong there. Thus other fan information shouldn't be included either. This would rule out any speculation or theories on how things work. If, however, you wanted to accept SOME speculation, since the Dragon Ball wiki wouldn't be bound by the same legal constraints as wikipedia...
Well, I think that's all I can come up with right now in terms of questions. I would be glad to help if you can get this thing running. It might be nice to have a place where intelligent people can go to provide information, without all the idiots who vandalize things here on wikipedia.

Batista vs. Henry
May you please tell me why you called my friends Batista vs, Mark Henry edits nonsense. He just called me and is pretty pissed that his work is being brushed aside. Both him and myself saw a commercial hyping this match while waiting for WWE Raw to come on. Other friends of minealso saw the commercial and are excited by the match. My friend went as far as to call you Wiki know it alls glory hounds. Brushing aside the info of a new user so you can take the edit, If thats true, thats pretty pathetic.User:Killswitch Engage
-
- See the thing is that while you saw it, the rest of the country didn't. WWE deliberately releases its commercials and promos on future events, spoiling the outcomes of matches and whatnot, to the local media. This is stupidly done to attract the interest of fans in that local area. The same thing happened with the Vengeance DX promo. That promo spoiled the return of the DX at Vengeance as it was released roughly 2 months before Vengeance. Another thing is Wikipedia Policy which forbids the addition of spoilers as Wikipedia is not a crystal ball. So please do not post spoilers until they are officially announced on either Raw, SmackDown!, and ECW or WWE.com. Thank you. -- bulletproof 3:16 17:32, 28 June 2006 (UTC)

Batista
The image I put in was fair use. Besides, the other pic looks crappy. --Trosk 17:44, 29 June 2006 (UTC)
- The new image you posted is not fair use. First of all, that image is copyrighted be WWE. And second, the image has a copyright violation as the person responsible for uploading it claims to be the creator of the work, which is obviously not true. -- bulletproof 3:16 17:51, 29 June 2006 (UTC)
Well, I didn't know that. Also, why can't we just use that one? Most of the pictures on the page are from WWE anyway. --Trosk 20:43, 29 June 2006 (UTC)

Unknown copyright?
How does the SSJ4 Gogeta image have "unknown copyright status"...? KojiDude 01:48, 6 July 2006 (UTC)
- The SSJ4 Gogeta image you uploaded (Image:GogetaSuperSaiyan4.jpg) has a copyright violation as the image is copyrighted by Toei Animation. The tag on your image claims that you are the creator of the work, which is obviously not true. Thus, it has a copyright violation. For more information on using correct copyright/license tags, please see Wikipedia:Image copyright tags. Hope that clears it up a bit. -- bulletproof 3:16 02:15, 6 July 2006 (UTC)

Vegetto SSJ
Prior to the conversation on the talk page, I had always maintained that Vegetto was most likely just SSJ, but that we can't know for sure. It was the concensus of other editors that made me start saying that Vegetto was SSJ2, because I go along with the decisions made on the talk pages. I was basing my reverts off of the fact that evidence seemed to be provided that Vegetto was SSJ2, or that the idea was acceptable enough that the article should be changed to reflect it. I still feel that Vegetto was most likely just SSJ1, so there's no problems here. I was just trying to stick to the decision made previously on the talk page with my reverts, not enforce my own perceptions of things on the article.
I doubt you thought I was doing that, but I just wanted to let you know. Thanks for your time. :)

rspw Afd
I find your timing and motives a bit suspicious. The entry is currently going through an improvement phase with an admin, if you bother to read the talk page you will see a final form for the entry is being blocked by ONE user who is trying to insert a non NPOV, which is why deathphoenix is involved as an admin. There are other usenet groups that have entries on Wikipedia. I am going to request your proposal is removed. I'm sorry. TruthCrusader 17:44, 15 July 2006 (UTC)
- "highly suspicious"... No I am not affiliated with anyone involved in your apparent dispute, if that's what you mean by "highly suspicious". However what I am aware of is that the article lacks sufficient content to meet Wikipedia's quality standards. Not only was the information there unreliable, but no sources were even cited. The article has also been subject to numerous edit wars even after an apparent consensus was made. The continuous disputes with yourself and whatever other parties involved are for you to handle so it is irrelevant to the AFD. But just because the article is being nominated for deletion does not mean it can't be improved. Like I said in the edit summary, feel free to edit it. Oh and BTW, if you're going to Requests for comment, I would highly suggest that you read the instructions listed at the top first and Sign entries with the date only, by using five tildes: ~~~~~.. -- bulletproof 3:16 18:18, 15 July 2006 (UTC)
- I did not state you were affiliated with anyone. What I meant was is that you have never contributed anything to the entry, despite your so called involvement in the Wiki wrestling project, then you appear out of nowhere and slap an Afd on the entry, despite the obvious debate on the talk page between myself, an ADMIN, and the sole person who repeatedly tries to insert garbage in the article. I also suggest you review the other usenet entries on Wikipedia, many of them have even less content, you might want to slap Afd's on them too. TruthCrusader 18:27, 15 July 2006 (UTC)
- I will look into that. It seems you are emotionally attached to the article. Please try to Assume good faith and read through WP:OWN before you make any more contributions. Thank you -- bulletproof 3:16 18:36, 15 July 2006 (UTC)

The Return of Wiki-Star
Well for once I'm somewhat flattered that he actually addressed me this time. [5] Though I'm not too fond of him saying that he was going to kill me, I do, however, manage to find some comedic relief in all this at the thought of him attempting to kill me. Here's my analysis: He can't write at all so my guess is another Dragon Emperor "Sockpuppet". However, the IPs responsible for the recent vandalism are AOL trolls so there is a slim possibility that Wiki-star could indeed be making himself look like an ass again... -- bulletproof 3:16 21:44, 15 July 2006 (UTC)
- It's probably just an anon AOL vandal, don't pay him any attention. And if it's the known AOL vandal Wiki-star this does nothing for his case. Don't take the bait and make a big deal of it either way. Voice of Treason 22:24, 15 July 2006 (UTC)

Rather than put the source on every page, I used http://www.prowrestlinghistory.com/supercards/usa/wwf/wwfindex.html for the PPV ratings. I tend to trust them and their accuracy. TJ Spyke 05:05, 22 July 2006 (UTC)

SummerSlam logo
Please stop. The correct logo is the one I replaced on the article. The RAW and SmackDown! logos were just part of logo as seen in the Official SummerSlam 2005 promotional poster and on this site which if you hover your mouse over, its says that it is the 2005 logo. I would appriciate it if you didn't keep putting the incorrect logo back on the article. Alright, its not vandalism, but still, it's getting old reverting to the correct revision. If you could provide a source that says that your logo is more accurate, by all means provide it, because as it stands I can't find where your logo came from. 216.78.95.60 - Moe Epsilon 18:45, 22 July 2006 (UTC)

Trivia
Do you intead to go and remove trivia from every other article? I see no reason to remove the trivia section from WrestleMania articles when there are trivia sections in the Super Bowl articles, World Series articles, Stanley Cup articles, etc. Do you intend to go and remove their trivia sections as well? TJ Spyke 01:27, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
- No... Just Mania, not because I agree with McPhail ('cause I don't) but because I'm trying to keep the articles in consistency with one another. Hey
Just a suggestion, you might want to create the account User:3buIIetproof16 (a Username that uses caiptal i's instead of lowercase l's) to keep Taracka from making it. I doubt he's that smart, though...--KojiDude 02:54, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

WWE Raw at Trump Plaza
Ok, this is getting to be horsecrap. I am getting sick and tired of a notable edit being unnecessarily removed on both the Trump Plaza page AND the WWE RAW page. WrestleMania IV and WrestleMania V were in 1988 and 1989 respectively. Until WWE RAW returned there, 17 years went by before any WWE television broadcast emanated from there. That is a notable fact and should be included within Wikipedia not only on the Trump Plaza page, but also the WWE RAW page as well.
Tell me something, if it wasn't so notable, then why was that fact acknowledged on WWE RAW itself on August 28? Both Jerry Lawler and Jim Ross both made remarks about WrestleMania's IV and V being held there.
These unnecessary edits are pure horsecrap! Srosenow 98 05:38, 1 September 2006 (UTC)
Koji
Look. WP:IAR is one of the fundamental official policies of the whole project, as promulgated by Jimbo himself. Nominating it for deletion is a pretty clear violation of WP:POINT.
I accept that Koji meant well, but a block was called for.
Part of being an admin is knowing when to IAR, and when not to. DS 01:33, 2 September 2006 (UTC)
- Bulletproof, he's right. Breaking a rule you didn't know exsisted always calls for a block.--KojiDude 04:11, 2 September 2006 (UTC)
-
- You asked for my opinion on this, and I thought I'd reply to this here (contrary to my normal policy on replying on my talk page). As easy as it would be for me to say "It was only three hours", I know I'd be annoyed if I felt a block was applied to me unjustly. To be honest, I'm not really sure what to say. It seemed Koji was beginning to revert war (cause Koji reverted someone that reverted Koji's action)... but perhaps the block was a bit premature, I don't know. I've got to say though, nominating IAR for deletion is a very bad idea. My advice to Koji (and you) is to forget about it. Nobody should hold any grudges. And if they do hold a grudge, then they need to learn to move on from things. --Lord Deskana (talk) 15:16, 2 September 2006 (UTC)

-
- I'm not saying I'm going to hold a grudge on the admin who blocked him at all. I just thought, like you said, the block was a bit premature. I think it's always a good idea to warn a user when they are doing something they're not supposed to. So if they persist, at least they know what they're doing is wrong and they can be blocked for blatant vandalism. Kojidude was not warned at all. I believe an edit war could have been avoided if Kojidude was simply warned. But that's just my opinion. Thanks anyways though. -- bulletproof 3:16 15:35, 2 September 2006 (UTC)

- Perhaps Koji should have been warned... but to be honest, if Koji knew doing that was a bad plan, an immidiate block was probably appropriate. Recent nonsense re: the Vic Grimes dispute
This is for both 3bulletproof16 and JB196 - I have no knowledge of the dispute currently ongoing regarding the Vic Grimes dispute, however could you both come to some agreement as to what to do with this content you both keep removing/re-adding to this talk page? Forget for now who's the vandal and who's the Defender of Wikipedia Policy; is there a compromise to be had? The main reason that comments/warnings/etc. should not be removed from one's own talk page, is to make it easier for administrators, mediators and other users to follow the history of a disagreement. 3bulletproof16, if you don't want the content on the main part of this talk page, would you consent to archiving it in a special section, say, User talk:3bulletproof16/Vic_Grimes_dispute? JB196, this would satisfy the need to preserve the conversation's history. Any objections? --PeruvianLlama(spit) 05:00, 5 September 2006 (UTC)

- Our discussion is taken place on Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Professional wrestling and on here. I removed the comments becuase our discussion started there. This is basically the issue here. The article Vic Grimes was being reverted by JB196. This was the previous version of the article before it was reverted [9]. This is the version that JB196 made afterwards [10]. Please Note the major reduction of the article's quality made by JB196's reversion. Please read JB196's comments regarding his reversion [11]. "revert then; you may not use my bio if I am not going to be credited." -- JB196 14:20, September 4, 2006. It is because of his reversions and his comments to the article that JB196 was accused of WP:OWN and also of compromising the integrity of Wikipedia by deliberately attempting reduce the quality of the article. From WP:Vandalism -- "Vandalism is any addition, deletion, or change of content made in a deliberate attempt to compromise the integrity of Wikipedia.". How he claims these accusations are false I have no idea. There you go. Those are the facts. -- bulletproof 3:16 05:08, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
- Have a look at JB196's most recent comment, at the bottom of this section of my talk page. Does this sound reasonable to you? You can archive the whole talk page afterwards if you don't like having so much text. At least this will get the talk page revert warring out of the way, so everyone can deal with reaching a consensus on the Vic Grimes article. Feel free to leave your thoughts on my talk page, as linked above. Cheers. --PeruvianLlama(spit) 05:30, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
-
- No it is not reasonable. He just removed my own comment from his talk page. If that is not relevant to the discussion we were having then his text is not notable here. Look I've dealt with people like him before. People who just sign up one day and just decide they know all the rules and have power over everyone. See Wiki-star, Dragon Emperor, and TheTruth2. All of these users harassed me aswell as other members becuase of upholding Wikipedia Policy. It is the same case here. I will not be harassed by another user like that. And the sad part is that most admins don't even realize the vandals are just that until someone gets blocked. Only then do they read through the situation like I posted on your talk page and take action. Wiki-star and Dragon Emperor were vandalizing for the entire summer until someone finally decided it was time to take action. Unforntuantly it was not befor other users upholding policy wer blocked by other admins who new nothing of the situation. Just look at his recent reply to your own talk page. I will not be harassed by another Wiki-star, Dragon Emperor, TheTruth2, or Taracka. -- bulletproof 3:16 05:43, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
- I re-added your comment to his talk page, which is where it will stay for the moment. Though JB196 may be going about it in a belligerent manner, it truly is talk page etiquette that comments of any sort be left alone, or archived - have a look at this paragraph to see what I mean. The one exception to this is simple vandalism edits, which so far JB196 has not made. At the very least, in order to resolve the Vic Grimes issue and/or to provide administrators, mediators or interested third parties with some background, it would good if the above exchanges could be kept intact at least for the next few days. It isn't required of you to do so. But it would be nice. Cheers. --PeruvianLlama(spit) 05:40, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
-
- I understand your frustration; I've been there before. I'm also sorry that you've been through long-term vandalism problems before on Wikipedia, however I don't think it's fair to assume JB196 is the same type of person you've met before. Everyone can get riled up on Wikipedia, and we don't always put our best face foward. I did have a read through the notes on the Administrator's Noticeboard before opening up conversation on either of your talk pages, but the content dispute looked a bit too tricky for me to resolve given that I have no knowledge of the subject involved. But I seem to be involved now anyway, so, well, here I am. If you'd like to remove JB196's comments, then as I said, you're free to do so whenever, or to preserve it for posterity. Cheers. --PeruvianLlama(spit) 05:54, 5 September 2006 (UTC)

About Vic Grimes
It seems you violated the 3RR on Vic Grimes. Whether or not the edits you were reverting appeared to be vandalism, they did not appear to be basic vandalism which is the type of revert the 3RR excludes. Basic vandalism is defined strictly to prevent abuse of the 3RR. I would advise you to be more careful about the types of edits you revert. I would hate to have to block you, but I would if needs be. Please contact me if you need anything else. By the way, I was asleep when you contacted me, so I'm afraid I couldn't pounce on the situation as I would normally. :-) --Lord Deskana (talk) 07:35, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
The Vic Grimes thing
Hey, sorry about not helping. My stupid AOL virus protection failed miserably and I got a trojan in my computer. I had to take it to gateway to get it fixed. WrestleMania 22
Your edits to the WrestleMania 22 article are becoming increasingly senseless. In this edit you removed sources, removed italics from the name of television programmes, changed "videos" to "vidoes", reverted to a now redundant referencing style and removed a perfectly valid external link, all without an edit summary. I do not appreciate having my edits reverted within minutes regardless of their merit, and if you continue to revert my edits, I will be forced to appeal for outside intervention. Thank you. McPhail 23:28, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
- The bottom line is this McPhail. Reverting and calling it "Clean Up" is not the way to go about these things. First of all, a "Clean Up" is not just reverting the article to your own previous version. If you find a problem or an error in the article, then simply correct it and do not revert. Reversions are to be used only in the case of vandalism and that is not the case here. Please see WP:OWN -- bulletproof 3:16 23:36, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
- The only reason I used a revert was that the then current version contained numerous serious errors, and reverting was a quicker means of cleaning the article up. Your tendency to revert to your own version even when glaring flaws have been brought to your attention indicates that you care more about the survival of your own version than about the final quality of the article. I believe I have reached a compromise with TJ Spyke, but I do not intend to allow you to bully me into accepting a substandard version of the article. McPhail 23:57, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
- McPhail look at every single contribution made to the article by both you and me. The only thing you've practically ever done to the article is revert. You have clearly never assumed good faith to any editor which makes it even clearer that it is you who cares more of the survival of your own versions than about the quality of the article. I refuse to allow you to continue to harass me or other contributors this way by claiming ownership of the article. -- bulletproof 3:16 00:11, 6 September 2006 (UTC)

SmackDown
- The Official name as of September 5th 2006 is still "Friday Night SmackDown!". See [12]. From The CW Network official site. "!" is still part of the name. Please do not add speculation as to the official name if no source has been provided to support your claim. Thank you. -- bulletproof 3:16 02:41, 6 September 2006 (UTC)
But on WWE.com the logo on the main page and on the SmackDown page no longer show the "!" and when they write the title of the show and no longer include the "!" as well. So on the CW Network's official site is has the "!" but on the official WWE site it doesn't. I would go by WWE's official site. Wouldn't you? —Preceding unsigned comment added by RAMistheMAN (talk • contribs)

- I'll tell you what. The reasonable thing to do is to wait until SmackDown! airs on Friday. It's just 4 days away anyhow. WWE can sometimes send mixed messages on their website. I don't know if you saw SummerSlam but in a promo video on WrestleMania 23, a new logo was revealed for the event. However, WWE.com is still using the original logo shown here for all mentions on WrestleMania 23. Best thing to do right now is to wait until Friday. If the SmackDown! graphics at the beginning or during the show no longer use "!" then It would be safe to assume that the change is official. It's the reasonable thing to do since there are sources everywhere that contradict each other. Agreed? Just 4 days. -- bulletproof 3:16 02:52, 6 September 2006 (UTC)
Okay, I agree. But I do want to mention that for months now whenever WWE writes the title of the show they only write "SmackDown" and for weeks now on the SmackDown page at WWE.com the logo (that can be seen here: http://www.wwe.com/content/media/images/Headers/3260430) does not have the "!" either. So this has been going on for a long time. But I'll listen to you and wait it out still. —Preceding unsigned comment added by RAMistheMAN (talk • contribs)

There is a slight color difference and when you open up your picture it shows the "!". Also, why should you get your way about this and I shouldn't?
There is a color difference. The logo you are posting is much darker than the one I'm posting. The one I'm posting is being used on WWE.com. The one I'm posting should stay. It's also being used it pictures to promote Friday Night SmackDown: http://www.wwe.com/content/media/touts/splash/images/3296332 and http://www.wwe.com/content/media/touts/splash/images/3296340.
Whatever. I'm sick of fighting. At least change the name of the page to "Friday Night SmackDown" now that you see the "!" has been dropped. Also, why can I not even see the picture anymore? Did you make it so I can't see the picture anymore?
Rosemont/Chicago
It's not a big issue, but WrestleMania 2(and WrestleManias 12 and 22) took place in Rosemont, Illinois. They are are part of the Chicagoland area, but are not Chicago. Events taking place in suburbs are frequently mentioned as part of the city itself(like how the Detroit Pistons actually play in Auburn Hills, Michigan). TJ Spyke 03:55, 6 September 2006 (UTC)

Buyrates
If the link you showed me was meant to tell me how unaccurate a lot of places are, that's fine. Does that mean WWE is unaccurate when they release the buys in the quarterly results? They held a conference the other day listing the buyrates for the previous four PPV's (excluding Summerslam I believe). If it's authenticity you're looking for, there's no better place than WWE. I didn't realise that was an issue as WWE have always released their PPV buys in their quarterly results.

3bulletproof16, will you please stop changing the image at the top to an old image of Agumon? This image is fine with the page and we have anought images of the original Agumon!! Pokemega32 22:31, 9 September 2006 (UTC)
- The reason that I am replacing the image is because of notability, that's all. Most people here recognize the current image better than the savers one. Having an image depicting a character known in the U.S. is more notable than having an image known more in JAP. After all this is the English wikipeida and I see no source in the article from bandai that states the savers Agumon design has replaced the old one. Please see Wikipedia:Verifiability. Son Goku Jr. cleanup
I see that you've placed a cleanup templete on the above mentioned article. Can you suggest to me on what needs to be done? Oh, and thanks for the welcome message. I guess you guys like to keep your welcome mat clean, don't you? :) SGFF 00:46, 14 September 2006 (UTC)
- First off, I want to congratulate you on creating your first article (most notably on your first day as a Wikipedian). Nice job. However what needs to be done now is to summarize most of the article's content. Separate it into sections such as the one's found in Goku's article, and correct a few grammar errors. It's not a bad article now, but I believe a little more work can be put into it to increase its quality. Hope you can continue to help. -- bulletproof 3:16 22:27, 14 September 2006 (UTC)

The WWE Programs Page
For Some reason the jpegs for the ECW show & WrestleMania have not been appearing. I fixed them but then you reverted them to their blank form. I ask you....whats up with that?
Cui
hi mate. i mean no disrespect. I have been with you editing for a long time. But i just want you to know that to me, Zarbon, Dodoria and Cui are my three most favorite characters in the universe and have been for over 10 years now. I don't want them to be damaged by persona and that's the reason why i don't want the pictures to be taken out. i don't vandalize and i don't revert without purpose. i'm sorry if i caused you any frustration. truce pal. about the pics, it's not a lot. it's only 5 now. can you please help me contain it. i implore you. no, i beg of you. it means so very much to me.- Zarbon
-
- I will help you maintain the article to improve its quality. However, you must let go of the personal feelings you hold for these characters while editing on Wikipedia. It is not healthy to be contributing to articles that are that meaningful to you. You have to let go of your OWN issue with these articles. It's not helpful to anyone and only causes disruption like the kind found today. How do you think the whole Wiki-star thing started? I would appreciate if you could save us the trouble of going through that again. I'm glad we could reach an understanding. -- bulletproof 3:16 04:14, 17 September 2006 (UTC)
-
-
- please put aside my personal feelings. the pictures for the pages are as follows to designate a purpose: one transformed photo. one video game image. one regular form photo. one scouter wearing photo from any one saga. one photo from a return in another saga. and one photo of the character in battle or using a certain technique. that is not a lot. i suggest you go through this trouble of deleting the pics from the frieza, cell, and buu pages before trying to compromise the only 6 influential photos for single characters. please understand. every photo is useful from the ones i compiled. please reply and do not change until you understand me. - Zarbon
-
-
-
-
- one video game image - Not every single character need it. Only on a few articles. one regular form photo - The info box covers that. one scouter wearing photo from any one saga - Pointless, doesn't illustrate anything. The others are fine. Nemu 20:28, 17 September 2006 (UTC)

Meltzer
Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia under the three-revert rule, which states that nobody may revert a single page more than three times in 24 hours. (Note: this also means editing the page to reinsert an old edit. If the effect of your actions is to revert back, it qualifies as a revert.) Thank you. alphaChimp(talk) 02:36, 22 September 2006 (UTC)
Great perfect, you're reverting based on the grounds that Meltzer is untrustworthy, even with no evidence to the contrary. This is not a kayfabe website, which you know, and reverting based off "I don't consider MEltzer's opinion valid" isn't grounds considering in the world of wrestling journalism, a field he's had twenty years experience, he is the forefront. –– Lid(Talk) 02:36, 22 September 2006 (UTC)
if no universal source is found the status quo must be kept. Information obtained from Dave Meltzer is no better than information obtained from a blog or forum.
- Wikipedia:Verifiability is one of Wikipedia's three content-guiding policies. The other two are Wikipedia:No original research and Wikipedia:Neutral point of view. Jointly, these policies determine the type and quality of material that is acceptable in the main namespace. They should not be interpreted in isolation from one another, and editors should therefore try to familiarize themselves with all three. The principles upon which these three policies are based are negotiable only at the foundation level, not at the level of the English-language Wikipedia.
- Articles should rely on credible, third-party sources with a reputation for fact-checking and accuracy. For academic subjects, the sources should preferably be peer-reviewed. Sources should also be appropriate to the claims made: outlandish claims require stronger sources (such as WWE.com).
- "Verifiability" in this context does not mean that editors are expected to verify whether, for example, the contents of a New York Times article are true. In fact, editors are strongly discouraged from conducting this kind of research, because original research may not be published in Wikipedia. Articles should contain only material that has been published by reliable sources, regardless of whether individual editors view that material as true or false. The threshold for inclusion in Wikipedia is thus verifiability, not truth. -- bulletproof 3:16 02:31, 22 September 2006 (UTC)
- You could've been citing those instead, however they are primary sources and all secondary sources can not be independetly verified. The Meltzer statements fall under that of a secondary source authority. –– Lid(Talk) 02:43, 22 September 2006 (UTC)
(Click on media and play video for news report) These sources also say 93,000. Not only that but both WWE.com and the silverdome's site [17] say 93,000. -- bulletproof 3:16 02:40, 22 September 2006 (UTC)
-
- Thanks for [18]
- The Wrestlemania III venture is in the Guinness World Record Book as 93,173, but some like David Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer question this number. Meltzer has written about number stretching in his newsletter and believed the crowd to be under 80,000. –– Lid(Talk) 02:56, 22 September 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for [18]
-
-
-
- Some of those sources are floored as they are, supposedly, "Largest Wrestling Crowd Attendance" when there are more than two Japanese events that eclipse 100k people. I am not debating that the number is published to be 93000, what I am debating is your wholesale removal of the dispute. This is an encyclopedia of facts, not kayfabe. –– Lid(Talk) 03:02, 22 September 2006 (UTC)

- Hey, I'm just saying, I noted numerous sources here. You only noted Dave Meltzer. Regardless, the article is fine the way it stands. Oh and just so you know... "According to Wrestling Journalist Dave Meltzer, the promoter of Wrestlemania 3 (ahem... WrestleMania III), Zane Bresloff, told him that the attendance figure was closer to 78,000. [[24]] (ahem... [ ] ?). The Pontiac Silver Dome did not have the capacity to hold 93,000" (ahem... yes it does). - Ahem... It said "The Pontiac Silver Dome did not have the capacity to hold 93,000" (didn't say for a wrestling event or not). 93,682 people attended mass for Pope John Paul II few days later so apparently The Pontiac Silverdome did have the capacity to hold 93,000. Thats not only introducing stylistic problems, introducing material without proper citations, but also introducing deliberate factual errors. -- bulletproof 3:16 03:28, 22 September 2006 (UTC)

Son Goku split proposal
Since Son Goku's article is monstrously long, I think it would be best to seperate a few sections from his article and create a new article with those sections in it, just like the case of the 2005 Atlantic hurricane season. I just came across the 2005 Atlantic hurricane season's article a few days ago, and saw that the article had several related articles that used to be sections. So I thought that the similar idea could apply to Goku's article. A discussion can be found here. Tell me your ideas and opinion also to improve this proposal. Happy editing! :) SGFF 00:25, 25 September 2006 (UTC)

WWE Cyber Sunday
Just curious, why have you suggested moving this to WWE Cyber Sunday? There is nothing else that would be at that name, and this would be like moving every WrestleMania page to "WWE WrestleMania" because that is technically its name. TJ Spyke 06:16, 30 September 2006 (UTC)
- Most of those are because the names are so common, like Armageddon and No Mercy. A search for "Cyber Sunday" is almost all about the WWE PPV, same thing with Taboo Tuesday. TJ Spyke 06:33, 30 September 2006 (UTC)
- Are you gonna fix all the redirects or am I gonna have to? That bugs me when people merge or move pages and don't bother to fix the pages that have now become redirects as a result of the merger/move. TJ Spyke 03:47, 24 October 2006 (UTC)

WWE RAW TitanTron
I would like to know why you think it's necessary that the text pertaining to the stats on the TitanTron be removed from the WWE RAW article. It's funny that I was the original author of the TitanTron trivia, and it was allowed to remain on the WWE RAW entry for quite some time before you thought it was necessary to remove it. Referenced or not, the TitanTron text is at least notable for those who are looking for information on it. While I'm not a Wikipedia admin, I find it to be utterly wrong for those (admins, registered editors or not) to think Wikipedia shouldn't include information that otherwise would not be found elsewhere. That's the whole purpose of an encyclopedia! Srosenow 98 05:37, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
- "Referenced or not". Incorrect. All material on Wikipedia that states claims such as " over six stories high ", "platform is over fifteen feet high alone", "entire setup is over 100 feet in width", and "roughly five by eight feet", must be referenced. If this information that you contributed was based on your own personal assumptions then it has no place on Wikipedia. Please see the official Wikipedia policy, Wikipedia:No original research. If reliable sources can be provided that confirm the measurements of the stage, then the information can be added. I hope this clears up any misunderstandings. -- bulletproof 3:16 16:22, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
-
- Personal assumptions? Nope. The dimensions are from personal observations from attending a live WWE RAW broadcast back in May, in addition to watching countless hours of prior RAW broadcasts to put together the dimensions based on various methods. Waaay before the dark matches even began, I was given a chance to get up close and personal with nearly every portion of the set, including the ring, TitanTron, entrance ramp, and the mini displays both under the 'Tron and on either side.
-
- Not only that, have you ever really looked at an encyclopedia? I wrote that section with encyclopedic writing in mind. I cannot count how many times I have seen in an encyclopedia where "roughly" or "approximately" was used. Wikipedia should be no different. It technically wasn't a matter of "referencing" the text, because in reality, very little information exists of the TitanTron's dimensions, and it's very unlikely a letter to WWE would reveal blueprints of it. Either way, the information is valuable, and should be put back into the article.

Dave Batista Article Edits...Confusing?
You changed the article, and it was definitely in good faith and not vandalism. However, i am here to question you about something, and i do apologize... But, I have to ask. The recent edits you made [[26]]make it seem like Evolution only had three members, when they had four. Maybye, in paranthesis, you could say something like, (the World Heavyweight Championship, the Intercontinental Championship, and the Tag Team Championship.) I dunno. Maybe i'm just being weird. Super Saiyan editing
I fixed the Super Saiyan discriptions to more educated discriptions (MANGA wise, which is the most canon material), but you changed them back. I just wanted to tell you that in my opinion the discriptions used for the forms of Super Saiyans sound like they were written by 12 year old fan boys, Translation: The discriptions are sh*tty. They are full of awkward pauses, riddled with third grade vocabluary, and will never make a good review. Just want you to keep that in mind. Sorry if I'm too harsh. Majinvegeta
- I completely agree that the article needs to be rewritten. However, per WP:OR, no mentions on "non-canon" or "canon" are to be made in articles. Just keep that in mind when you rewrite articles. Cheers! -- bulletproof 3:16 03:20, 10 October 2006 (UTC)

- But can't we do something about it? Tons of People have made contributions to the Goku page based on original research, but that's what made it all the better. It's exciting to read, and very educational. I have made contributions based on the canon material like Manga and the official Dragonball guide (Daizenshuu). Most people don't read Manga though, but they definitely should, anime is riddled with Plotholes. :(Majinvegeta
- I know it sucks but unfortunately, after the original Dragon Ball Canon article was overwhelmingly voted to be deleted; a consensus was formed that classified all "non-canon", "canon" stuff as Original Research. So now, under Wikipedia policy, all that stuff has to be removed from Dragon Ball related articles. For example, instead of adding something like: It was then that Goku was able to transform into the non-canon Super Saiyan 4... Just leave it as: It was then that Goku was able to transform into Super Saiyan 4... -- bulletproof 3:16 03:32, 10 October 2006 (UTC)

- To be honest, it's difficult to relate them to other people. What I'm thinking is that there appear to be two users active now that are infact sockpuppets. Infact they seem to be talking to each other... --Lord Deskana (talk) 23:59, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

- My point is I'm not so much concerned about who they are, but that it seems there is a currently active user who is a sockpuppet of another currently active user. Do you have IRC? --Lord Deskana (talk) 00:06, 21 October 2006 (UTC)

- I think we need to talk... please read WP:IRC. I'm in #wikipedia-en at the minute and could do with talking to you. If you're using something decent like Firefox (I confess I use IE) then Firefox should be able to handle IRC. --Lord Deskana (talk) 00:09, 21 October 2006 (UTC)

You have been temporarily blocked for violation of the three-revert rule. Please feel free to return after the block expires, but also please make an effort to discuss your changes further in the future.--Ginkgo100 talk · e@ 21:34, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
- Wasn't he reverting vandalism? The other person's edits had no grounds, and it's a new user.--KojiDude (Contributions) 21:36, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
I've contacted the blocking administrator for comment. Please bear with us in the meantime. Luna Santin 22:29, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
- My last block on article WrestleMania X8 was also a misunderstanding. I was simply reverting vandalism from that article as well. See Version Diffs The vandal who initiated that editwar has since been blocked numerous other times for violating other policies. -- bulletproof 3:16 22:38, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
The sock has been blocked. [27] I see no reason that you should be blocked for reverting a sockpuppet's vandalism. FloNight 01:02, 22 October 2006 (UTC)

- I'm afraid it doesn't work like that all the time. 3RR is an instrument against edit warring, which unfortunately what happened here. I advise that you stick to three reverts, at all times. If you suspect that the user that you are edit warring with has created a sockpuppet, post something on the administrator's noticeboard or file a checkuser request. Or, you could just contact me. I was away for the weekend so was unavailable to do my usual pounce-from-the-shadows-to-bulletproofs-aid act. Your block has expired now (or is due to soon) so enjoy editing. Remember- if you get to three reverts, STOP. It's the only safe way to stop yourself from being blocked. If the user creates a sockpuppet they can be blocked, and then the sockpuppets edits can be reverted (reverting blocked users edits is allowed, no matter what the content), although I suggest you always stick to THREE REVERTS MAXIMUM, even if policy suggests you are allowed more. Good luck --Lord Deskana (talk) 20:58, 22 October 2006 (UTC)

- Yes, according to Jimbo Wales, bulletproof was following policy and therefore should not have been blocked. Sadly, however, few adminsitrators actually take WP:IAR into account when issueing a block. I, personally, find it disturbing that so many of our "trusted sysops" would ignore a policy completley.--KojiDude (Contributions) 22:48, 22 October 2006 (UTC)

- Have you read WP:3RR. Only simple vandalism does not count towards 3RR violations. This was by no means simple vandalism. Simple vandalism would be something like page blanking, or inserting "is gay!" or other nonsense. This was more of a content dispute than it was simple vandalism. So unfortunately you can be held responsible for your edits under the three revert rule... I suggest you just learn from it and move on. --Lord Deskana (talk) 07:27, 23 October 2006 (UTC)

- People can be blocked for 3RR when reverting complex vandalism? That doesn't make sense. Complex or simple, it's still vandalism, and the contributor is still working to keep Wikipedia a clean place.--KojiDude (Contributions) 00:49, 24 October 2006 (UTC)

- I believe that what Koji is saying is right. Vandalism is vandalism, no matter what type of vandalism it is. If any one should be blocked, it should be the one who added the vandalism in the first place. I love Wikipedia, but I don't see how reverting vandalism like this could get you blocked. --Sasuke-kun27 00:57, 24 October 2006 (UTC)

- No matter how many times I drop links to 3RR nobody ever reads them? Only "simple vandalism" is exempt from the 3RR rule, which this was most certainly not. Please read my post above before getting all high-and-mighty about getting blocked. These are the rules. If you want them changed, get a concensus for it. But believe me when I say that if "complex vandalism" were allowed to be exempt from the 3RR, a lot of people would be arguing stuff is "complex vandalism" when it's really not. Simple vandalism is quite easy to define. This is why it's advised that you stick to three reverts in all situations. Infact, read WP:1RR. --Lord Deskana (talk) 23:21, 24 October 2006 (UTC)

Bischoff
Take a look at [28] though, where he says : The internet and its role in professional wrestling is brought up and whether it is a good or bad resource for fans. Mr. Bischoff tells the story of him goggling his name and finding his bio on wikipedia.com and it has the wrong birthday and wrong information about him and his life and in turn was a reason for him to write his book. And it is the reason why I had changed it to a normally right one and I found a newspaper article for it. Lincher 00:33, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
- See his interview with WWE.com. He tells the same story of him goggling his name and finding his bio on Wikipedia. He stated that he started laughing as he found his date of birth listed as May 27, 1957 when on his Driver's license and Birth certificate, his date of birth was listed as May 27, 1955. - Yeah, I was reading it when I got your answer... I agree with you, lets put a good reference so it doesn't change anymore. Thanks for making me OPEN my eyes, it is really tough to know what to believe, I always go for the newspaper before IMDB and before blogs and the internet but it looks like they are wrong there. Thanks again, hope we can work together on another article one day. Lincher 00:56, 24 October 2006 (UTC)

Super Android 13
- (edit conflicted twice) I reverted your removal of the warning, as it was not vandalism. While changing the title in the infobox was not a violation, constantly removing exclamation points from the Japanese title of the movie against or without consensus is. The exclamation points are in the title, and edits that put them back in are not vandalism. Please refrain from reverting this again, or you may be blocked for violating the three-revert rule. --Coredesat 04:00, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
I understand your frustration, and I've been in your position many times with these kinds of edit wars over dub and original titles. Although you believe it to be vandalism, an administrator will not and will ban you for violating the 3RR. Instead of letting that happen just drop a note off at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Anime and manga and help will arrive shortly ;) -- Ned Scott 03:59, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
