Anyone know why this asteroid was named 'Laetitia'? Two possibilities seem likely:

(1) Latin for 'perfect happiness'

(2) Various female members of the Bonaparte family, including Napoleon I's mother are named Laetitia so it may be named after one of them? (the discover was French).

I think that it was named after a Greek or Roman goddes, I'm not really sure...--BorisFromStockdale 15:26, 13 April 2006 (UTC)
