The 37th Infantry Division was a unit of the British Army during World War I.
Initially established in Andover as the 44th Division in March 1915, it was subsequently renumbered as the 37th Division in May, moving to Colderton to complete training.
In early August, the division moved to France, and was concentrated near St. Omer. The first major engagement in which the division participated was the Battle of the Somme in July 1916.
The division participated in all three phases of the 1917 Battle of Arras, capturing the village of Monchy-le-Preux.
Demobilization began on Boxing Day 1918, and the division had ceased to exist by March 1919.
