35th parallel north

The parallel 35° north is an imaginary circle of latitude that is 35 degrees north of the Earth's equatorial plane.

Starting at the prime meridian heading eastwards, the parallel 35° north passes through:

The parallel 35° north forms the boundary between North Carolina and Georgia and the boundary between Tennessee and Georgia, Alabama, and Mississippi. The southern tip of Nevada also touches the parallel, bordering California on the west and Arizona on the east.

From west to east, the parallel passes through (or forms part of the boundary of) the following states: California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina.
