In obedience to the wishes of his constituents, Mr. J.J. Clancy, who voted for the exclusion of Mr. Sheehan from the Irish Party a few weeks ago, was present on the same platform with Mr. Sheehan at Blanchardstown on Sunday.

NORTH DUBLIN LABOUR ASSOCIATION -- "Party resolution or no Party resolution, we insist that you shall appear on our platform with Mr. Sheehan"
MR. CLANCY M.P. -- "Necessity knows no law. As you are so determined I must comply with your wishes"

Image shows D.D. Sheehan M.P. (right) representing the Irish Land and Labour Association (ILLA) at the said 1907 Blanchardstown, North County Dublin Land and Labour meeting as Mr Clancy unwillingly mounts the platform.

Newspaper article text: The story goes that J.J. Clancy M.P. at an earlier meeting with his local constituents, threathened to throw himself into the Shannon if any of William O'Brien's friends was brought into the constituency.

One of those present offered to hold his coat while the operation was being performed !
