3487 Edgeworth' is an asteroid beyond Pluto. In his book Beyond Pluto, John Davies named the asteroid after Kenneth Essex Edgeworth (1880–1972), an Irish astronomer who first suggested the existence of what later became known as the Kuiper Belt.
