The 32 Reserve Infantry Battalion is an Infantry Battalion in the Irish Reserve Defence Forces (RDF).
[edit] Unit heritage
It was formed on 1st Oct 2005 during the reorganisation of the Irish RDF when the 14th, 15th and 22nd Infantry Battalions were amalgamated together to form the 32nd Reserve Infantry battalion.
14th Inf Bn was based in Limerick and Tipperary, 15th Inf Bn was based in Kerry, 22nd Inf Bn was based in Clare.
The 32nd Res Inf Bn now covers all these areas.

It comprises 4 Rifle Companies - A (Lahinch), B (Ennis), C (Tralee), and D (Killarney) - HQ Company (Limerick) and Support Company (Tipperary).
The Battalion Headquarters is in Ballymullen Barracks, Tralee.
It is linked to the Regular 12th Infantry Battalion and is part of No.1 Southern Brigade.
