[edit] Features

[edit] Storage

30Gigs' main attraction was its storage space. Amongst webmail providers, they offered what was then the second largest amount of space, next to Yahoo! Mail, which was rolling out unlimited storage to its accounts at the time 30Gigs ceased operation.[1] Users were permitted to use their accounts only for email and email attachments; however, plans were underway to permit personal file storage.

[edit] Interface

30Gigs used a themed version of Horde to provide the webmail interface for their users. Previously they used a themed version of Squirrelmail and RoundCube.

[edit] Advertisements

30Gigs displayed Google AdSense advertisements to users' email inboxes.
