[edit] Merge into Blizzard Entertainment

  • Uh, why? My vote is No until I hear a good reason. Also the Blizzard article doesn't have a merge tag on it. Dread Lord CyberSkull ✎☠ 02:04, 26 September 2005 (UTC)
    • I agree. Merging is not a good idea. This would just make the Blizzard article more crufty, and others who search this site might actually want to know what a .BLP file is. I'm removing the merge tag. - Ta bu shi da yu 01:48, 1 October 2005 (UTC)
    • Move to BLP (format) perhaps? ".BLP" is an unprofessional title I think. Waiting for consensus... --Shandris 10:41, 29 May 2006 (UTC)
    • Another nay for merge... the topic of this article is BLP not Blizzard. --GuyPlasma 02:50, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Removed the BLP conversion link for Windows

I removed this link because my virus software said it was malacious. System Mechanic's Kaspersky Anti-Virus said "Network attack Intrusion.Win.Messenger.exploit from address 24.22.31.176 has been successfully repelled." However, if you're a daring soul and want to try it anyways, here's the old link:

[edit] Links are broken

Wc3sear.ch [1] has died, and so all (or at least most) of the links are broken. Other sites which probably have the same programs are The Hive [2] or WC3 Campaigns [3]. Pyritie 20:10, 19 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] XN Viewer

[4]. Does not read my blp files for WC3. --68.161.182.158 (talk) 09:12, 2 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Blizzard really the maker?

Is it certan that blizzard is the maker of blp format? I've seen several other games(Neverwinter Nights for example) using the same format so I'm not 100% sure that Blizzard Entertainment really is the creator of the format. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.230.88.19 (talk) 17:20, 14 April 2008 (UTC)
