[edit] License tagging for Image:Pen roobox2.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Pen roobox2.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 09:07, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Article on pen
- I am sorry, I don't find your article on the pen encyclopaedic. Can you please explain to me why you think it should have an article.--Arktos talk 09:54, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
- RE: Boxing Kangaroo Pen
no i was kidding. It's probably not all that encyclopaedic but i thought it was of some interest and seemed like a good idea for my first article.
- You are all0wed to delete a prod tag but I will take it to AfD--Arktos talk 10:14, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
- What is AfD?
[edit] Your recent comment to User_talk:AYArktos
Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on the contributor; personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks may lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. In particular, I refer to this edit -- Longhair 10:10, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
- I saw your note on the talk page of AYArktos, and thought I'd provide a quicker reply. AfD refers to Articles for deletion. -- Longhair 10:24, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
Leave my article alone! Do you hate me because of my colouring? I have God on my side!! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by *bj* (talk • contribs) .
- Nothing wrong with green and gold colouring indicated on your user page and we know nothing more about you - nor do we want or need to --Arktos talk 10:56, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Gratuitous advice
- I would suggest that this image - Image:DSC01360 edited.JPG is unwise - full names and date of birth should not be posted on the web if you have any sense. Do you want me to delete it?--Arktos talk 11:00, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
- You are very right in saying that, but i took the precaution of editing the number at the bottom. But you seem to have a substantial amount more experience than me, and if you think it would be wise to delete it, please do. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by *bj* (talk • contribs) .

[edit] Funny article
Hi I gotta say I looked at Boxing Kangaroo Pen and thought it was kinda funny. Some points:
- You already know it's unencyclopaedic
- It should have been called Boxing kangaroo pen, not Boxing Kangaroo Pen'
- Rather than stand by and let it be deleted, ask them to move it to a user subpage for you
I think they would definately assist if you asked but I'm not too sure how to move from main space to user space without screwing things up. BTW, good work on the article (even if the topic isn't what everyone is looking for). Hope to see you taking an interest in Wikipedia:WikiProject Australia, it is a good way to identify articles you find interesting and to get other editors to collaborate on your work. - Did you want the article to be in your user space, that would be OK and it would not be deleted under those circumstances. You just need to move it to User:*bj*/Boxing kangaroo pen. If you need a hand, let me know. Regards --Arktos talk 08:55, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] New Coke
I take the credit for writing most of the article. Glad it had that effect. Perhaps it's all the references to the drink and its taste. Daniel Case 13:46, 8 October 2006 (UTC)
As above, you're welcome. Thanks for the compliment! Daniel Case 16:12, 31 October 2006 (UTC)
