How did this get on the 2nd Armored Cavalry page? This has absolutely nothing to do with the 2nd Armored Cavalry Regiment!—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.197.197.92 (talk • contribs) 22:31, 29 April 2006.

I noticed that in the initial statement that this article states that 2nd AD was deactivated in 1992. That is incorrect, in either 1995 or 1996 (can't remember which) the unit was retasked (a fancy term for completely and wholly renamed) to the 4th Infantry Division. I know it was in 1995 or 1996 because that's when I was with the division at Ft Hood, and that's when we switched our patches from 2nd AD to 4th ID. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.52.235.233 (talk) 06:05, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
