This is the Australian Army Unit Colour Patch of the 2/6th Australian Cavalry Commando Regiment self created digital image.

  • Please note: this image is actually incorrect. The colours were based on the phrase, "Through the mud and the blood to the green fields". So, the colours should actually be reversed. Could someone please reverse the picture and re-submit, thankyou!

How about that colour patch Darren? Lt. Col. E.C.Hennessy was the last Commanding Officer. Led the Regiment throughout the Aitape Wewak campaign 1944-45
