The 2nd Regiment South Carolina Volunteer Infantry (African Descent) was an African-American infantry regiment that served in the Union Army during the American Civil War.

The 2nd South Carolina Infantry was organized at Beaufort and Hilton Head, South Carolina and mustered into Federal service on May 22, 1863.

The regiment was redesignated the 34th Infantry Regiment U.S. Colored Troops on February 8, 1864.
