The 28th Avenue light rail station is on the Hiawatha Line in the Twin Cities region of U.S. state of Minnesota. This is the fifteenth stop southbound. It has a 600-space Park and Ride lot. The south parking lot is currently closed for construction of a 1,450 space parking ramp, which will open in Fall 2008; a temporary lot is provided to the southwest of the station.[1]
Because it was deliberately made difficult for train passengers to park at the Mall of America and then ride the light rail, this is an easy alternative. It is only about two blocks from the Mall of America and much more convenient for drivers to park and ride.
[edit] Bus connections
From 28th Avenue station, there is a direct bus connection to route 54.
