25th Alberta Legislative Assembly

The members of the 25th Alberta Legislative Assembly were elected in the general election held on March 12, 2001 and, with the exception of the three MLAs listed below, held their seats until dissolution of the legislature on October 25, 2004.
On November 22, 2004, the 26th Alberta general election was held to elect the next legislature.

1 - Doug Griffiths was elected in a by-election held on April 8, 2002.
2 - Gary Masyk was elected as a Progressive Conservative in the general election and crossed the floor to join the Alberta Alliance on June 29, 2004. Since the Alberta Alliance had only one member in the legislature, Masyk was officially considered to be an independent MLA.
