In response to your question about limerence, the article lists that "Limerence can be stopped when a person establishes a genuine love with a limerant object or another person." This may or may not hold true. My advice to you, person to person, is to seek the help of a professional counselor. If this is not an option, talk to a trusted friend or family member.
