Hmm, your other non-US-Presidents-related edits all appear to feature Appleton's however, promotion is not permitted on Wikipedia, so these additions may be removed unless you're able to provide an explantion as to why they should be retained in multiple Wikipedia entries. Sorry, these are Appleton's Biographyies edited by Stanley L. Klos. Many of your articles are drawn from these and I was just rying to take your readers to source. Will stop, sorry

Appleton publishers was a main New York publisher of solid serious historical material in the 19th century--especially the Annual Cyclopedia (1860-1901) which I use all the time. Appleton published an excellent 6-volume compendium of biographies of famous Americans. They are factual and unbiased. It's hard to find outside big libraries so it's great they are online now and can be linked to Wiki articles. Stan Klos, an expert in historical documents, has done a good job in editing them and making them available. Rjensen 05:15, 27 March 2007 (UTC)

I've read the discussion above, but I was surprised to that this is about the same site. In general, external links should not be to sites that contain only the information that the article itself could or should contain.
