Hi Felix, thanks for responding.

Firstly, you don't have to have a user account to edit Wikipedia - anyone can do it. Secondly, I'm afraid you're guilty as charged. There are two ways of verifying this:

  1. Take a look at Your contributions - you'll see your edit to Cricket listed there, as well as the message you left on my talk page.
  2. Look at the history of the Cricket article. Scrolling down, you'll see the edit made by your IP (24.77.131.31) address at 11:02, 2 March 2006.

It may have been an accident, but you (or someone using your IP address) blanked the entire page. From your reaction I expect it was an accident, so don't worry too much about it (but please be careful in future!). In fact, we'd love you to get stuck in to editing Wikipedia for the better!
