That's because you keep removing that information without comment. Please go to the article's talk page and make your case there; otherwise your deletion of material looks like vandalism. Thanks, Antandrus (talk) 02:56, 10 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your edits on Islam

Hi, and welcome to wikipedia. I'm sorry if you felt my reverts was without merit. But if you remove content from an article you should explain why you do it. You van do that in the edit summary field. Since this is the lead section in a very prominent and much debated article, making changes there should be explained and preferably discussed on the talk page. And simply having a statement in an article that what it says is wrong, is just not how we want an article to look.

On the other hand, I do see that the statement about the spread of Islam might look doubtfull too many, so it should be backed up by a reference or source. I will add {{fact}} after the statement, and maybe someone will add the citation. Shanes 03:04, 10 February 2006 (UTC)

(edit conflict) It looks like I was writing almost the same comment as Shanes. If you know that something is factually incorrect, please give us a source, and discuss it on the talk page. Using an edit summary that gives a source can also suffice. This really isn't a bad place, and we're pretty reasonable here: but anonymous deletions with no edit summary are almost always reverted.
