it takes a lot of guts to admit to doing something that can potentially ruin your career, and your life. unlike BONDS, giambi admitted to the use of inhibitors and agreed to submit to random testing by MLB. BONDS is not likely to EVER admit to such a thing, continues to gloat about his impressive records and all that does it serve to anger the fans more (not knowing if all the records broken were always byproduct of the steroid use). this is the 2nd scandal within MLB where not copping to the truth is going to get you no where. case in point, pete rose. while MLB is willing to forgive (maybe not forget) and offer him a possibility of entering the hall of fame, it will never happen if pete rose does not admit to the the gambling charges.
