Is it possible that these guys honestlyly don't see the flawed logic?
All I did on July 23 was suggest using definitions of "race" and "racism" from the dictionary instead of concocted meanings. That is certainly not grounds for blocking for a day, much less a month.24.64.165.176 17:51, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
I guess it is easier for Philwelch to block me than to explain where this definition of racism comes from:
"The term racism refers to discriminatory beliefs and practices that presume inherent and significant differences exist between the genetics of human races; that assume these traits can be measured on a scale of "superior" to "inferior"; and that result in the social, political and economic advantage of one group in relation to others."
Not from any modern dictionary or other reference work and not from the Racism article referenced.
Gross abuse of admin powers. Funny, they talk about Systemic bias but the admins are all right-wing anti-arab, anti-Islamic bigots.
Welsch has not given any reason (that I can find in the Blocking Policy) to block me.
"Your user name or IP address has been blocked from editing. You were blocked by Philwelch for the following reason (see our blocking policy): nutjob obsessed with zionism Your IP address is 24.64.165.176."
Regarding your edit to Zionism.

If you want to contribute to Wikipedia, disrupting unrelated talk pages by denouncing Zionism and making accusations of Zionist conspiracies everywhere is not a constructive strategy. You have been blocked for 24 hours so you can meditate on this truth. — Philwelch t 08:25, 12 June 2006 (UTC)

Philwelch has concocted his own reasons to block. Are there any other "isms" on the list?
Someone has attempted to argue:(Racism ALWAYS involves a belief in superiority) and (Zionism does not claim superiority) implies (Zionism is not racist). This fails without the "ALWAYS". The Online Oxford does't even mention superiority as a defining characteristic of racism.
"By definition not racial" - look at definitions of "race" in online Oxford - by definition it IS racial.
The Bible as a "source" in historical and scientific articles? How about other religions, Scientology perhaps? At least we know who wrote their bible.
Zionist doctrine is often stated as fact without reference.
The main doctrine of Zionism could be stated: "For over 3,000 years, Jews have regarded the Land of Israel as their homeland...". AFAIK, prior to modern Zionism, Jews felt the same way about the region as Christians did. No ref. to support this quote, which is stated as fact.
"The Jewish diaspora in its historical use, refers to the period between the Roman invasion and subsequent occupation of Land of Israel beginning 70 CE, to the re-establishment of Israel in 1948." In 70 CE the vast majority of Jews lived in Egypt, Syria & Mesopotamia. Are they (and their descendants) not part of the diaspora?
3 different definitions of diaspora.
The statement that Jews who do not live in Israel are "exiles" or "diaspora" is just another way of stating the main doctrine of Zionism.
Only a small minority of the Jewish population was expelled in 132 and they formed a tiny fraction of the Jews who then lived outside of Palestine. Is there any proof the latter considered themselves exiles, that they did not think they belonged in Egypt, Syria & Mesopotamia or that they had a desire to go to Palestine.
There is the oft stated or implied lie that the "diaspora" Jews were expelled and then "returned".
Various articles state or imply the "diaspora" were "expelled" but the population numbers seem way too large. Could they have mostly been economic migrants or converts? Any proofs or sources? Besides bible stories.
ЯEDVERS has brought this to my attention: WP:NPOV "An article should not give undue weight to any aspects of the subject, but should strive to treat each aspect with a weight appropriate to its significance to the subject." So who keeps deleting all mention of Christ and the origin of Christianity from the Palestine and Israel articles?
