I'm sorry. I'll stop changing the colors. I'm only 11. I just thought that silver would look nice for Chryslers because it is their official color. Forgive me for asking but how is it vandalism because I wrote the articles for Chrysler Concorde and Eagle Vision. Wouldn't you be vandalizing too. But I'll stop. Sorry again.

It was considered vandalism because it contravened the currently accepted layout as proposed by the Automobiles Wikiproject, If you take a look at the example (click here), you see the heading colours are white letters on a dark green background. It looks much better if all automobile articles in Wikipedia follow the same general format, including table heading colours. ApolloBoy and I had assumed you were just some random guy changing the colours "just because". See Wikipedia:Vandalism for more information.
The fact that you contributed to the articles makes no difference as to whether it's considered vandalism or not. If you had read the text at the bottom of any page you edited, you'd have seen "If you don't want your writing to be edited mercilessly or redistributed by others, do not submit it". Just because you "wrote the articles" (which is a dubious assertion at best, since you copied paragraphs from the Dodge Intrepid article, which, coincidentally, the majority of which were written by ME) does not mean they're "your" articles: they're Wikipedia's, and anyone is welcome to change them. See Wikipedia:Ownership_of_articles for more information.
I'd also suggest you create an account if you'd like to get more involved in editing Wikipedia, and join Wikipedia:WikiProject Automobiles if you'd specifically like to contribute more automotive content. --93JC 23:03, 7 January 2006 (UTC)
