I have not added a commercial site to Wikipedia. If you had examined www.ilovesyria.org you would have noticed that it is a purely cultural and religious site of great importance at the present time. www.ilovesyria explains to the world the importance of Syria to Muslims in general from especially a Shia prospective. Lebanon is currently a devided country over Syria. It is the Shia of Lebanon who support Syria. So, www.ilovesyria gives the world a chance to understand the Shia position. Have I convinced you? Please leave the link alone. Thank you!

I have examined the link, and it looks more like propaganda for non-Shiites to me. --Khoikhoi 06:55, 19 December 2005 (UTC)

You are surely entitled to your own views and opinions, but as a devout Lebanese Shia, I totally disagree with your position on the www.ilovesyria.orglink and website. www.ilovesyria.org is a religious site that starts and ends with Islamic invocations. The world has the right to know why the Shia of Lebanon support Syria. The site includes narations attributed to prophet Muhammad. These narations are from Shia sources (with one exception). I assure you again that www.ilovesyria.org is non-commercial and independent. Besides, if you think it is propaganda, then I assure you that every religious website in the world is a propaganda website/tool. I am willing to debate this with you until one or the other is convinced. I am willing to give you my time. In return, I ask for fairness.

You might fail to recognize the purely Shia nature of the website because you are not a Shia. Should you carefully examine the religious content of www.ilovesyria.org, you will know otherwise. If you think that the information in www.ilovesyria.org are a valuable asset to many people, especially Westerners, please put it back yourself. I feel that the Shia owe an explanation to the world as to why Syria is important to them.

[edit] Questions

How come I was reverted several times? Is El C an admin or just a common user?

Yeah El C's a admin. Also, here's a response by him:
It has nothing to do with having a problem with Syria, but with the link amounting to being a personal site, which are, generally, not permitted. If the website was more notable, then perhaps it would make sense to add it, but it dosen't seem to be (looking at its Forum). El_C 07:02, 19 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Deleting AfD tags

Please don't. The article willhave to go through the process first, it is considered vandalism to cintinue to remove the tag before the vote on delation has finished. Thanks, --Krich (talk) 07:36, 22 December 2005 (UTC)
