Three comments: 1. Please register and become a wikipedia user, so that users can easily converse with you now and in the future. Your IP address is recorded if you are not a registered user, and that makes it difficult for users like myself to easily speak with you.
2. I think such a prolonged conversation about the prestige of either school and arguments about prestige relating to reality would best be had between you and the other unregistered wikipedia user on your individual pages, rather than on the Sciences-Po discussion page itself.

From the standpoint of those who are reading the Sciences Po article for the very first time, the perception is erroneous. Wikipedia was recently scrutinized for allowing anonymous users to contribute false information. I will repeat again, the ambassador did not have the authority equal to that of the President of the United States. For some reason you and several others seem to think he had and has. And for the benefit of those who are a little fanatical religiously, the ambassador is NOT the Antichrist. There are those who thinks he is.
And to repeat, User:81.7.26.202 and I concur that the ambassador fits best under government and politics not under world governance.

[edit] Paul Bremer's Listing In Sciences Po
Your explanation for moving his listing under notable alumnus is debatable. The transitional government is a misnomer because Iraqi ministeries were up and running very shortly after the old regime was ousted.
The ambassador's listing under world governance does appear to elevate his status to the far reaches of the universe. Is that how he would have wanted to be remembered?

Hello,
I followed your work about the "Sciences-Po" page, and I fear that you have done much work for nothing, since there are categorization problems.
About people:
You should mention ONLY those for whom the IEP is the MAIN diploma in the curriculum, i.e. those for whom the IEP diploma was the diploma ( and not another one!) which was really significant for their career. For the others, it is NOT significant: well-known politicians are well-known because they have been in ENA after the IEP, EVERYONE knowns that in France, and it could be easily guessed following the links on wikipedia by the way. You should clearly differentiate in different categories those for whom is was only a PARENTHESIS in their curricula (Chirac, Hollande, etc. indeed nearly all french politicians!), and those for whom it was not the case. Otherwise it gives a biased description of the fame of the school. It is OBVIOUS that for Juppé, Pompidou, Fabius, etc. (to mention a few on your lists), being a "Normalien" is MUCH more significant than having the IEP diploma!
If you do not categorize people correctly, you will attribute to the IEP the fame given by OTHER institutions (Mainly Normale Sup, ENA, etc.), since many famous people attended other schools (There are many examples.), before or after the IEP: one reason for that is simple and rational: until recently, it is hard to find a job with ONLY the IEP diploma ( Since the cursus is too light!).Remember that, until recently ( the five years reform), the IEP was considered as an UNDERGRADUATE program ( contrarly to the "Grandes Ecoles" or University masters for instance.)
The IEP, until very recently, was not really a school, but a NETWORK: the course syllabus is light ( Compared to Grandes Ecoles'), that's why it was not really a problem for someone to join ( mainly in 2d year) and to study at Sciences-po ( for instance, it is very easy to attend the IEP "in parallel" to a business school, I know many people who did that...). It is the reason why LSE and Sc-Po CANNOT be compared, since, I guess, the syllabus is much more serious at LSE... It is the trivial and lazy reason why so many famous people attended to Sciences-po! Your presentation suggests that it is a quality (It may be the case for LSE), whereas such a monopoly to career in politics is a PERVERSION of the french educational system!
It is the reason why the structure of the wikipedia article about LSE CANNOT be used to describe the IEP : the institutional context and the rules of the game are too different... It is the IEP's advantage to be compared to LSE, and to make propaganda about that...
To put it in a nutshell, for french people ( and especially those who know a bit about the french higher educational system ...) , your presentation of the IEP looks REALLY WEIRD (and "anglo-saxon"). I remember that Professor Paul Duguid, who is interested by Wikipedia, told us during his visit in my lab in Polytechnique that Wikipedia was too present-oriented...I think that it is really the case too for the parts of this article which deals with reputation...
Remembering your remarks about IEP's reputation and the newspaper's quotation that you mentionned, I fear that you have been a victim of IEP's communication policy and you have done so much work for nothing...
