Welcome
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- Tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Manual of Style
You are welcome to continue editing articles without logging in, but you may wish to create an account. Doing so is free, requires no personal information, and provides several benefits. For one thing, if you edit without a username, your IP address is used to identify you instead.
In any case, I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your comments on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your IP address (or username if you're logged in) and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place {{helpme}}
before the question on your talk page. Again, welcome! Kannie | talk 21:59, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to Caroline of Brunswick. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. --lquilter 03:53, 22 October 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry - it appears that your edits were good faith, but I was confused by another editor's blanking vandalism. --lquilter 03:55, 22 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Names in templates
Please do not keep adding in titles to names in ancestry templates, especially when such names are redirects and clutter up the template. They have been changed to conform with what is already used in articles and you keep on reverting. Quit it, please. Charles 09:15, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
- It would be polite to respond to what I have told you rather than being disruptive. Charles 09:30, 9 November 2007 (UTC)

- Names are linked according to WP:NC(NT) because that is a standard we have here one Wikipedia. The ordinals are not used for John and George of Saxony and the titles of king are not used in ancestry templates, nor are the titles of princess or duchess before queens consort. [edit] Blocked
I blocked you for 48 hours to give Charles some peace. Please don't do this again. Guy (Help!) 17:56, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
Pretty unfair. Mean I can make the same complaint against user:Charles that he is making against me. Just because he keeps spaming admin. until one would blocked seems pretty lame. I wrote out most of the ancestry tables that Charles seems so dead set on "protecting". Actually look at my edits and see that compared to usual pointless or vandal edits, mine (whether you think personally or good or bad) are fair edits and this blocked is again unfair.
[edit] Your recent edits
Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot 04:25, 15 November 2007 (UTC)
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to Charles IV, Holy Roman Emperor. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. —Animum (talk) 02:42, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
This is the discussion page for an anonymous user, identified by the user's numerical IP address. Some IP addresses change periodically, and may be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users. Registering also hides your IP address.
