[edit] Welcome

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions to the Barry Goldwater article. One of Wikipedia's sister projects is Wikiquote, which is a repository of quotes by and about famous people and subjects. Some of the quotes you added were not yet on Goldwater's wikiquote page, so I moved them there. It is Wikipedia policy not to include a "Quotes" section on biographical articles, as it often makes them long and wikiquote makes them redundant. If you think a particular quote is illuminative of a person's personality, career, beliefs, or experiences, try to find a creative way to work it into one of the existing headings. This is part of what makes Wikipedia so much fun. BTW, if you click on the "discussion" tab, (right next to the "article" tab), you can see comments other users have made. On Goldwater's talk page there is a discussion of the "quotes" issue. Another thing: you may want to create a user page. That way the community will have a unique way to identify you, and some editors are prejudiced against edits made by users who are only identified by an IP number. Thanks again for your contributions.--Rockero 03:18, 2 December 2005 (UTC)
