Can we just ban this guy already? How many times does someone have to vandalize before he gets banned, anyway? Just look at his changes history, for instance:
http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Contributions&target=24.254.92.184
See especially his edits to Benedict XVI.
Or consider the Ed Crane page that I've had to revert several times already:
http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Ed_Crane&action=history
I mean, really. I don't have the authority to block a persistent vandal, but I sure know one when I see one. --Kuznicki 13:46, 27 November 2006 (UTC)

Yes, some days I do stay on the computer all day, off and on. What about you? What do you like to do -- music? gaming? — Catherine\talk 00:44, 25 Jun 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Music
- I'm more familiar with the Pumpkins; I know the Soundgarden singles, but not much more -- like everyone else, probably, I remember "Black Hole Sun" best. Which would you recommend as their best album? — Catherine\talk 00:50, 25 Jun 2005 (UTC)

- Sounds like Louder Than Love is probably my cup of tea. There's not much about it in the article there though -- is there more you could add? Where and how was it was recorded, what does it sounds like? What bands did Soundgarden listen to that influenced the sound of this album, and what bands that came after made records that sounded like it? Check out Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band or Rio (album) to see what kind of articles can be written about an album. (Of course it doesn't have to be that one if you have another album you'd rather write about.) What do you think? — Catherine\talk 01:12, 25 Jun 2005 (UTC)

- Hm. I hate to say it, but that reads an awful lot like you copied it from somewhere, and we can't do that at Wikipedia. (Google says it's from mp3.com, written by Steve Huey.) I really wish we could do it that way, it would make things a HELL of a lot easier, but the guy who wrote that owns the copyright to those words, saying those things in just that way. If he found those exact same words here, he'd have a legal right to sue us, and since we're a non-profit project giving away stuff for free, we wouldn't have much to pay him with if he won his lawsuit. Enough problems like that would shut this project down -- no more free information for the world.

- Why don't you try saying some of those things in your own words instead of borrowing someone else's? I'm sure you've got a lot to say about them, and if you're worried about grammar or spelling or whatever I can help with that. Let's work on it together, eh? — Catherine\talk 01:23, 25 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Yeah, pretty funny. I'm sure there'd be those who'd be glad to have "proof" that a project like this can't work, that people who don't have PhDs and BMWs can't write a proper encyclopedia, but have to copy and steal everything. But I'd be sad to see it go, and so would you down the line when you need to look something up (for school, for work, for your mom or your little sister or your cousin), and have to pay someone like Britannica for the privilege. It's not hard to add what you know here, and it's fun to watch it grow, instead of tearing it down. 01:31, 25 Jun 2005 (UTC)

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to Nose, you will be blocked from editing. Grika 02:36, 31 March 2007 (UTC)
