Welcome!
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions.
Currently, you are editing without a username. You can continue to do so, as you are not required to log in to Wikipedia to read and edit articles; however, logging in will result in a username being shown instead of your IP address (yours is 24.228.70.72). Logging in does not require any personal details, and there are many other benefits for logging in.
When you edit pages:
- Please respect others' copyrights; do not copy and paste the contents from webpages directly.
- Please use a neutral point of view when editing articles; this is possibly the most important Wikipedia policy.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add unreasonable contents into any articles, such as copyrighted text, advertisement messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Adding such content or editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism.
The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. For now, if you are stuck, you can click the edit this page tab above, type {{helpme}} in the edit box, and then click Save Page; an experienced Wikipedian will be around shortly to answer any questions you may have. Also feel free to ask a question on my Talk page. I will answer your questions as far as I can! Thank you again for contributing to Wikipedia. Hagerman 03:45, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
- Don't worry you're doing nothing wrong! I've just noticed you have been putting a lot of effort into improving many of the articles and I thought you might like to take credit for your changes with an account of your own. You're free to continuing editing without logging in if you wish. Hagerman 03:52, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and it has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:
The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.
Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field, especially for big edits or when you are making subtle but important changes, like changing dates or numbers. Thank you. Also, please refrain from adding minor junctions to infoboxes. When adding major junctions to infoboxes, please use the format that matches the rest of the infobox. -- NORTH talk 19:50, 17 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] infobox junction lists
The main purpose of the junction list in the infobox is to give an idea of where the route passes, not to list every junction whether big or small. For I-287, the US 1 junction is essentially in the same place as the I-95 junction. Being the terminus, I-95 is more important. --Polaron | Talk 00:44, 19 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Your edits
Your inclusions look really great. Don't forget to include a summery. Have a great week. Rsm99833 05:18, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Re: Garden State Parkway
Access between US 9 and NJ 440 is irrelevant, because we're talking about an exit list for the Garden State Parkway. We only care about access to and from the Parkway, not other routes that happen to be part of the same interchange.
Also, thanks for apologizing for shouting. However, I still encourage you to familiarize yourself with the signature feature. It's simple enough to do, just four tildes, usually with a couple of dashes for clarity's sake ( -- ~~~~ ). You had it down for a while, but you've stopped again. Any comment on any talk page should be signed, even if it's obvious who it's from.
And one more tip. I'm about 99% sure that you also use the username Nextbarker. If this is you, I encourage you to always edit while signed in as Nextbarker. It just makes things a lot clearer, especially so that we can communicate with you on a single talk page. -- NORTH talk 04:29, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
- You're absolutely right about NJ 440 northbound. I either hadn't noticed that ramp actually merged into US 9, or I was counting US 9 and the Parkway as the same freeway. I still think that it should count as direct access, but I've clarified the note to make it clear that it's not completely direct.
- Also, I believe traffic from NJ 440 southbound is meant to take NJ 184 to access US 9/Parkway/Turnpike northbound. -- NORTH talk 00:07, 5 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] major junction
And would a NJ 70 or NJ 72 shield be acceptasble in the GSP major junction box or too many shields, I'd think that because, it's big coming from the shore.
Nextbarker 06:48, 4 November 2006 (UTC)nextbarker
[edit] major junctions
Would a NJ 70 and/or NJ 72 shield be acceptable on the GSP major junction page, since it'd be major coming to and from the GSP or too many shields? Nextbarker 06:50, 4 November 2006 (UTC)nextbarker
[edit] Shield images
Why are you changing New Jersey route articles to use the wrong shield images? -- NORTH talk 07:19, 2 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] An Automated Message from HagermanBot
Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! HagermanBot 01:11, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Game shows and GSN
I have begun reverting some of your edits where you mention whether or not a show is being aired, is not being aired, or has aired before, on GSN. A station on which a show is (or isn't rerun) is irrelevant to the article. Your posting of such material on the shows' talk pages is absolutely the best spot for this discussion. --Goldrushcavi 01:35, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
- Seconded. We delete those things every time you put them in; surely we must be trying to tell you something. Listen. Lambertman 22:41, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
Sorry, I was helping out, but ok, don't need too
--24.228.70.72 01:30, 29 March 2007 (UTC)nextbarker
You are still making such edits. They are still irrelevant to the article. Modor 10:51, 17 May 2007 (UTC)Modor
- Done again as of July 11-18 to Supermarket Sweep, Let's Make a Deal, and others. I'm going to go ahead and consider this vandalism since several of us have repeatedly asked you to stop: | Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --Goldrushcavi 23:02, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] apologizing
Sorry, wikipedia, I was only trying to help you

[edit] Shield images
Please stop. This edit where you change the NJ 35 shield from 20px to 25px was wrong and you know it. -- NORTH talk 18:16, 18 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] NJ 35 Shield missing
Sorry, there was no NJ 35 shield when I last checked in the mentioning.

[edit] "Just yet"
Hello, please refrain from adding the phrases "yet" or "just yet" to game show articles' episode status. You are insinuating that the shows will at one point air on GSN, which may not even happen. Just saying that it has not been aired on GSN is fine. Saying that "The Joker's Wild 1990 isn't on GSN just yet." HOWEVER, is pointless and leads readers to believe that the show will air in the future, which may NOT necessarily happen. Please refrain from adding that phrase next time. Thanks. FamicomJL 20:41, 27 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] GSN
What about AS OF 2007 GSN doesn't have the rights? or So far,
--24.228.70.72 02:38, 28 April 2007 (UTC)nextbarker
- As of 2007 sounds fine. FamicomJL 02:48, 28 April 2007 (UTC)
- Let's just not put anything about GSN at all, as we have asked you to stop doing multiple times. Same goes with your comment below. --Goldrushcavi 23:03, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Let's Make a Deal returns to GSM
Let's Make a Deal 'is indeed coming back to GSN next month, that is definite.

[edit] The Better Sex
Please do not add irrelevant/unhelpful content to the list of episodes in Game Show articles as you did on The Better Sex. Thank you! aJCfreak yAkBaK 15:58, 17 May 2007 (UTC)
