- If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Hi! I'm not quite sure what your connection with the college is, but I've made my tag on the article more exact. Hope that helps clear things up and shows people what the problems are. Chase me ladies, I'm the Cavalry (talk) 15:37, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
- Actually, it seems you're connected to this: Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/Jvolkblum. I've read up on the case, and it seems the article should be semi-protected until this is cleared up. Chase me ladies, I'm the Cavalry (talk) 15:40, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Reblocked
Previously this IP address was blocked in connection with some edit warring and sockpuppets; since the block has expired, I see a return to edit warring, general refusal to build consensus for large changes, several attempts to own articles, and a lack of willingness to see what Wikipedia is not, in particular that Wikipedia is not a travel guide. If you can address these concerns and signal your understanding of policies/guidelines linked, I'm happy to consider an unblock request (you can use the {{unblock}} template) -- this is not a punishment. – Luna Santin (talk) 22:27, 29 March 2008 (UTC)

- I was happy to recieve your response. I particularly appreciate your candor and positive, helpful attitude. This would be a first in my experience on this site. I genuinely regret this unfortunate series of events and all that has occurred. As i have attempted to explain before, i (Jvolkblum) am not the only user on this IP site. Due to the situation, several of my peers have felt compelled to review and edit subject matter similar to mine. It isnt spiteful or malicious, but rather, an attempt to make the validity of contributions be known and recognized. While i am in no position to point the finger of blame, I do believe I was unfairly dealt with by a select group of users/administrators and that the authoritative and overly critical nature of their interactions with contributed to all this 'craziness'. I believe that the changes and contributions I have made are beneficial and add to subject matter at hand. Often I refer to similar articles (ie: Cities/ colleges/ educational facilities)to guage whether my contributions are in-line with the structure and content of relative Wiki-material. I have seen how frequently Wikipedia is referenced by other sites and am aware of the broad audience it reaches. It is for this reason that I am motivated to edit and add to the site . . . to improve the accuracy and scope of info that is available. While many users like to 'patrol' the site and seek out user mistakes/issues/problems/abuse(?) etc., my history doesnt reflect that interest.
Communications such as these are far from my strongpoint so my apologies for 'rambling' on. Thank you again for your attention to my situation. Regards - Jvolkblum --24.215.173.132 (talk) 11:07, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
