[edit] Thanks

You seem to be a good and fairly experienced editor. So much so that I'd feel silly extolling the benefits of a named account – I'm sure you already know. Still, I wonder why you are editing from an IP address rather than using an account. Anyhow, thanks for your contributions. Rl 07:27, 26 September 2006 (UTC)

Thank you for experimenting with the page Wikipedia:Sandbox on Wikipedia. Your test worked, and it has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. A link to the edit I have reverted can be found here: link. If you believe this edit should not have been reverted, please contact me. NCurse work 05:47, 5 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Bot shutoff button

There is no need for such a button on my bot account user page [1]. Please do not readd it. Admins can block my bot account easily when needed. --Ligulem 09:06, 10 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] George Trevelyan (New Age spiritualist)

I have created the destination page for the redirect, so please remove the speedy delete notice from the article. BTW, it would have been nice to have had more than a minute to create the destination before someone slapped a delete notice on it! DuncanHill 01:27, 30 October 2006 (UTC)

Please do not add nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to Wikipedia:Sandbox. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. Yuser31415 talk|contribs 07:48, 7 November 2006 (UTC)

Hi,
I apologize if you didn't understand what I meant, but please don't copy pages like George_Bush to the sandbox. The sandbox is meant for experimenting, but after seeing the 'semi-protected' heading at the top, I gathered that someone had been vandalising, especially after removing at least 2 cases of vandalism regarding that person on the sandbox in the same evening.
I'm sorry if you meant this as a good faith edit, which I now think you did :)

All clear now :)

[edit] User:FFBot

Hi. I know this was about two months ago, but I notice you reverted my edit on User:FFBot, when I removed Category:Wikipedia bots from the page. Just to let you know I have re-removed the category. Thanks, — FireFox (talk) 18:36, 08 December 2006

[edit] If you want to have full rights here, get an account

I have read your mention of this topic above, but you may as well read this:

Jimbo Wales, the founder of Wikipedia, has written that:

  • users with "anonymous IP numbers do not have the same civil rights as logged in members of the community. If you want to be a good editor, get an account, make good edits." -- Jimbo Wales

To create an account, you only need to choose a username and password. You don't need to provide any personal information. -- Fyslee (collaborate) 11:00, 9 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Account Time!

I see you have some awesome contributions, even advanced stuff like UBM. Now it's time to make an account. See [2]. S'later — Deon555talkdesksign here! 01:42, 22 March 2007 (UTC)

Okies, I see your reasoning. And yes, I have been guilty of always checking IP edits more than editors or not respecting etc IPs as much. IPs are people too! See you round the wiki, — Deon555talkdesksign here! 23:46, 25 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Dutch Wonderland

Well, I put Dutch Wonderland back into Pennsylvania Dutch Country - for now. I tagged Dutch Wonderland as "Proposed for Deletion", and an admin will look at the comments on it in five days. You may want to comment on it.

Oh, and I deleted the broken minigolf wikilink. Simesa 06:21, 25 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] If you get an account…

If you get an account you will be able to edit semi-portected pages, create pages, and move pages, now get an account. It's free!  Tcrow777  talk  23:01, 27 July 2007 (UTC)

I apologize for the mis-treatment, I used to be an IP editor myself, my stupid idea that would block off and repell one of the most important parts of the Wikipedia community (IP editors), I hope you accept this apology, I can never say that I am sorry enough. And no, I promise, the proposal was not directed at you.  Tcrow777  talk  04:41, 30 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Recent vandalism

If you're confused about the attempts to remove your userboxes by User:Tcrow777, then feel free to leave comments on his talk page here. If you wish to inform an administrator, it is at your discretion, as his actions appear to be motivated by his failed proposal here, which was apparently specifically directed at you. Thank you for your time, and happy editing. Sephiroth BCR (Converse) 03:50, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
