[edit] Bipolar Treatment?

How is spamming a link to bipolar treatment to unrelated articles helpful?DocJohnny 17:35, 23 November 2005 (UTC)

Sorry I was not trying to spam, i thought that the pages we are trying to build will be helpful. I will send you a link when our forum is up and get your opinion. How is this information from the NIH not helpful?
It may indeed be helpfull, but the link has been added and removed several times (as shown on the article's history' page), which suggests that you go to the article's talk (aka discussion) page and explain your edit. Anarchist42 20:36, 23 November 2005 (UTC)
sorry, this was my first time visiting. i was unaware that you could not post to multiple page. hopefully when we have launched the site fully it will be more useful to some area of this site.
Considering that the same edit was done numerous times by anonymous users, it looks like a spam effort. I suggest that you sign up and read some talk and pages to familiarize yourself with the customs of wikipedia - believe me, you will find that being a regular wikipedia contributor will be most rewarding Anarchist42 20:36, 23 November 2005 (UTC)

Thank you for the help, I will be sure and read more about the customs and hopefully will be able to make a more meaningful contribution.

I'm just learning about the site, is it wrong to post the link to multiple pages if it is relevant? For example posting depressiontreatment.com in multiple pages that relate to depression? Thank you for your help

[edit] Medicine

Adding a link to http://bipolartreatment.com in multiple sections of Bipolar disorder is either bad form or spamming, even worse you got the link wrong!

Also, including that link in Medicine is inappropriate.

Unless you can defend your vandalism, your links will keep getting quickly removed!

Sorry, I didn't think it was unrelated. We are posting medical education and have a cme forum that is going online next week. thanks for the advice.
Medicine is a general article, whereas bipolar disorder is a specific topic (I made the same mistake when I was a newbie). Again, sign on as a regular user, tread lightly while becoming familiar with wikipedia customs, read help and discussion pages, and you will be rewarded. P.S. Welcome!
