[edit] Wikipedia is not a forum
I am glad to see you are interested in discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, talk pages such as Talk:Hugo Chávez are for discussion related to improving the article, not general discussion about the topic. Thank you. JRSP 12:14, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
- Please do not use talk pages such as Talk:Hugo Chávez for general discussion of the topic. They are for discussion related to improving the article. They are not to be used as a forum or chat room. See here for more information. Thank you. JRSP 18:58, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
-
- I must also warn you about the Three-revert rule policy: "An editor must not perform more than three reverts, in whole or in part, on a single page within a 24-hour period.[...]Any editor who breaches the rule may be blocked from editing for up to 24 hours in the first instance, and longer for repeated or aggravated violations." Additionally, deleting warnings from your talk page is considered uncivil. JRSP 19:11, 14 August 2007 (UTC)

- Deleting warnings from my talk page is considered uncivil? Then I guess that I'm an "uncivil gringo" like your hero Hugo Chavez would say. As I said in the statement that I posted on your discussion page, please don't foul my discussion page with your unsolicited and unwanted nonsense. I don't give a shit about you or what you think! Got it, amigo? 24.168.46.238 19:19, 14 August 2007 (UTC)

- Oh, and another thing: You say that "Wikipedia is not a forum"? Does the same apply to you? You have repeatedly removed TRUTHFUL statements that expose Hugo Chavez as the America hating socialist dictator that he is. I have also noticed that you have inserted various pro-Chavez statements and comments in that, and other Venezuela-related artricles. Do you work for Chavez or the Venezuelan Government, or do you just hate America? 24.168.46.238 20:09, 15 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] No personal attacks
With regard to your comments on Talk:Sid Haig: Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks will lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. I would also like to point to you that the discussion on Sid's article ended in May. So there's no need to drag it up and certainly no need to spam the discussion page with your IMDB postings.--CyberGhostface 17:03, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
- Hey Mr. CyberGhostface: I do not take kindly to being scolded about my wikipedia edits by the likes of you, and you would be best advised not to foul my discussion page again in the future with your unsolicited and unwanted nasty comments. Am I making myself perfectly clear? 24.168.46.238 18:53, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
-
- Please do not attack other editors. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --CyberGhostface 19:16, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
-
-
- You don't listen so good, do you? I SAID STOP FOULING MY DISCUSSION PAGE WITH YOUR UNSOLICITED AND UNWANTED NONSENSE!!! What don't you understand about that? 24.168.46.238 19:21, 14 August 2007 (UTC)

- If you don't want to be warned about violating the rules then you shouldn't be violating the rules in the first place.--CyberGhostface 19:26, 14 August 2007 (UTC)

- You didn't "warn" me, you THREATENED me! In any event, I'd just like to let you know that in the future, I will not fall into your trap. I will not be goaded into making personal attacks which get me blocked by an administrator! Any response by you to any of my edits or comments on an article discussion page will be IGNORED! 24.168.46.238 20:09, 15 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Blocked
¤~Persian Poet Gal (talk) 19:27, 14 August 2007 (UTC)
- Dear Persian Poet Gal: The 24 hour block that you placed on my account yesterday for personal attacks has just expired, and while I must say that I was not happy about the block, I harbor no hard feelings towards you. If you check my previous contributions, you can see that I have been a productive editor on Wikipedia. I'd just like to let you know that while I was guilty of personal attacks against JRSP and CyberGhostface, I was goaded into doing so by these two individuals. In order to avoid future blocks, I promise not to engage in anymore personal attacks, and if I am goaded by trolls such as these two individuals, I will simply ignore them.
- JRSP was repeatedly reverting a comment which I made concerning statements made in the Hugo Chavez article which I found to be biased. My issue with CyberGhostface concerns his nastiness and uncivility. He is far too possessive of articles which he has created, and he becomes very angry when edits are made to such articles. After multiple revisions of LEGITIMATE edits which I made to "his" articles, I told him to leave me alone. He proceeded to foul my discussion page with unwanted and unsolicited comments. When I objected to this, he goaded me into calling him a profanity.
- While I respect your role as a Wikipedia Administrator, I'd like to respectfully request that in the future, you exercise better discretion when blocking a user based on one-sided information. Thank you for your understanding! 24.168.46.238 19:45, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] RE:The 24 hour block that Persian Poet Gal placed on my account yesterday
Thank you for your civil approach. Unfortunately there was no way to exercise discretion because at the time you were severely violating our WP:CIVIL policies. But I can understand there are always two sides to every story. Just try to be respectful and polite toward your fellow editor the next time you run into conflict or ignore them when it is hard to do so.¤~Persian Poet Gal (talk) 19:49, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Wikistalking and User Space Harassment by CyberGhostface
A. A personal attack is a personal attack. Calling me "CyberFuckFace" is a personal attack. Reprimanding you for calling me "CyberFuckFace" is not an attack. In fact, I ask you to find an unedited post from me where I was nasty and uncivil as you have described. I didn't goad you into doing anything. You attacked me, and I warned you for doing so. You attacked me some more, and you got yourself blocked.
B. Discussion pages are not for discussions of the subject of the article. Its for discussions towards improving the article. They aren't a forum.
C. What was the LEGITIMATE edit that you made to Sid Haig? Posting your imdb posts on the talk page?--CyberGhostface 03:18, 16 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] My response to CyberGhostface's continued harassment
I consider your unwanted and unsolicited response to the exchange between me and an administrator on my own talk page to be harassment. I thought that this was a dead issue, but you are obviously trying to goad me into saying something uncivil to you so you can report me to an administrator and have me blocked again.
I have asked you not to place your unwanted and unsolicited comments on my discussion page NUMEROUS times, yet you refuse to comply with my wishes. When ever I placed a comment on your user discussion page in the past, you had it promptly removed. Why do you feel that, despite my requests to the contrary, you have a right to harass me?
I'll say this one time more in case you still don't understand... PLEASE LEAVE ME ALONE AND STOP POSTING UNSOLICITED AND UNWANTED COMMENTS ON MY USER DISCUSSION PAGE!!! WHAT DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND ABOUT THIS SIMPLE REQUEST? IF YOU CONTINUE TO HARASS ME, I WILL REPORT YOU TO A WIKIPEDIA ADMINISTRATOR! 24.168.46.238 09:07, 16 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] New account
You've done quite a number of edits now. Have you thought about setting up an account? - Alison ☺ 13:48, 16 August 2007 (UTC)
- As soon as the harassment from CyberGhostface stops I will consider setting up an account. Thank you for your interest! 24.168.46.238 14:01, 16 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Further evidence of CyberGhostface's harassment
Please do not delete content from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to User talk:Spirot. Your edits do not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use Wikipedia:Sandbox for test edits. If you want me to stop leaving messages, then I suggest you stop performing acts of vandalism. --CyberGhostface 15:03, 16 August 2007 (UTC)
- Yet another example if his harassment. Isn't there a rule against placing warnings on a user's discussion page with the intent to harass? I WANT THIS GUY TO STOP BOTHERING ME!!! 24.168.46.238 15:14, 16 August 2007 (UTC)
-
- I wouldn't be warning if you hadn't vandalized and blanked Spirot's talk page. Or have you forgotten about that?--CyberGhostface 15:15, 16 August 2007 (UTC)
-
-
- If you don't stop stalking me, I'm going to have my uncle, who is a Captain in the NYPD, contact the appropriate law enforcement authorities in order to force you to stop harassing me! I HAVE TOLD YOU TIME AND TIME AGAIN THAT I DO NOT WISH TO BE BOTHERED BY YOU! CONTINUED CONTACT CONSTITUTES HARASSMENT UNDER NEW YORK STATE LAW!!! You would be best advise to cease all contact with me! 24.168.46.238 15:20, 16 August 2007 (UTC)

- Don't ignore the subject. If you don't vandalize articles, I won't warn you. Its a win-win situation for both of us. I don't know why that is so hard for you to understand. Don't vandalize Spirot's talk page and go "Good riddance!" and then act all shocked when you get warned. (BTW, I suggest you look at Wikipedia:No legal threats before threatening to send your uncle after me for vandalism warnings).--CyberGhostface 15:29, 16 August 2007 (UTC)

- I am not threatening to send LAW ENFORCEMENT after you for your "vandalism warnings", I will report you to the proper authorities for cyberstalking if a Wikipedia Administrator doesn't deal with you appropriately first. I reserve the right to contact the proper law enforcement agency when I am being harassed and stalked online, which, under the laws of the jurisdiction where I live (New York State), is a crime. You have been asked, then repeatedly warned to leave me alone, yet you refuse to do so. I'd say that it was YOU who was in the wrong! 24.168.46.238 15:36, 16 August 2007 (UTC)

- The rules on Wikistalking also state "This does not include checking up on an editor to fix errors or violations of Wikipedia policy". I'd say vandalizing talk pages count as "violations of Wikipedia policy". If you don't want me talking to you, quit vandalizing wikipedia.--CyberGhostface 15:38, 16 August 2007 (UTC)

- I consider ANY contact from you to be harassment. I asked you to stop contacting me, and you refuse. If you feel that I am "vandalizing wikipedia", then report me to an Administrator, and let them NOT YOU issue a warning. I am starting to become very alamed by your persistant, unwanted harassment. Why won't you stop? I MUST ASK AGAIN THAT YOU PLEASE STOP ALL CONTACT!!! I will only report you to the police as a last resort, but I'm not bluffing when I say that I will!!! 24.168.46.238 15:55, 16 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] You have been blocked
[edit] Legal threats
Hello. Reading some of the comments you have made here, and elsewhere, I feel compelled to direct your attention to Wikipedia:No legal threats. If you wish to report another editor to your local legal authorities for "harrassment" then that is your prerogative, however, threatening to do will likely result in an indefinite block, since it is against our policy for people to edit while engaging in legal action relating to the project. Therefore please either stop making such threats, or confirm that you intend to go ahead with them, so we can issue the indefinite block. Thanks. Rockpocket 20:06, 16 August 2007 (UTC)
Due to ongoing harrassment and legal threats, your IP address is now blocked for the next six months.
These types of activity are completely inappropriate for Wikipedia editors. Attacking and threatening someone for making legitimate warnings on your talk page is unacceptable. Georgewilliamherbert 23:55, 16 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Sockpuppetry case
You have been accused of sockpuppetry. Please refer to Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/24.168.46.238 for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with notes for the suspect before editing the evidence page. Edward321 14:09, 20 August 2007 (UTC)
