With regards to these edits, there is of course no relation between the generations of Lancers and revisions to the Evo models. Evo I/II/III = 5th gen Lancer, Evo IV/V/VI = 6th gen Lancer, Evo VII/VIII/IX = 7th gen Lancer, Evo X = 8th gen Lancer. Ergo there can easily be ten Evo models (since 1992) and only eight Lancers (since 1973). It's not difficult to understand. Hopefully, now that you know as much as the article authors—something you clearly did not do before—you'll be less likely to vandalise the article in future with personal attacks. --DeLarge (talk) 11:12, 31 March 2008 (UTC)

Please refrain from making test edits in Wikipedia articles even if your ultimate intention is to fix them. Such edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. Thank you. There is no relation between Lancer and Evo generation numbers. --DeLarge (talk) 11:35, 31 March 2008 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, we would like to remind you not to attack other editors. Please comment on the contributions and not the contributors. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. If you want to have a conversation about the Mitsubishi Lancer, do it at Talk:Mitsubishi Lancer, the article's discussion area, not on the page itself. And keep it civil. --DeLarge (talk) 12:04, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
