From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Welcome!
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions.
Currently, you are editing without a username. You can continue to do so, as you are not required to log in to Wikipedia to read and edit articles; however, logging in will result in a username being shown instead of your IP address (yours is 24.136.230.38). Logging in does not require any personal details, and there are many other benefits for logging in.
When you edit pages:
- Please respect others' copyrights; do not copy and paste the contents from webpages directly.
- Please use a neutral point of view when editing articles; this is possibly the most important Wikipedia policy.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add unreasonable contents into any articles, such as copyrighted text, advertisement messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Adding such content or editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism.
The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. For now, if you are stuck, you can click the edit this page tab above, type {{helpme}} in the edit box, and then click Save Page; an experienced Wikipedian will be around shortly to answer any questions you may have. Also feel free to ask a question on my talk page. I will answer your questions as far as I can! Thank you again for contributing to Wikipedia. --AW 22:05, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] About List of BEMANI Musicians
Thanks for helping, but TaQ has nothing to do with FIXX, it is only an alias used for Vanity Angel by NAOKI, if you need proof, check out the song information on the DDR EXTREME Original Soundtrack. Ashura96 01:07, 18 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Triceratops and "analysis"
Hi, and thanks for the punctuation changes on Triceratops. Unfortunately, somehow "anal" got removed from every "analyze"/version thereof, so I fixed them. J. Spencer 20:51, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah, my browser was trying to block "inappropriate" words. --24.136.230.38 19:38, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] your edits and quotation marks
wikipedia uses the british standard for punctuation and quotation marks. that is, 'quotes generally belong inside of punctuation'. WP:MOS#Quotation_marks the_undertow talk 00:32, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
- Ok, thanks! I didn't know that. 24.136.230.38 16:27, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Re: WP:AIV
Thanks for reverting vandalism to Wikipedia. I'd just like to note that the most recent report you made to WP:AIV, this, was removed without being blocked, because that user had only vandalised once in the past 5 days. Thanks, please continue to help us guard Wikipedia against vandalism. --Deskana (talk) 15:49, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. However, Wikipedia is not censored, not even to remove profanity or pornography. Please do not remove or censor information that is relevant to the article, as you did to Leet. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. [edit] April 04, 2007
Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Some of your recent edits, such as those you made to Dred Scott v. Sandford, have been considered unhelpful or unconstructive and have been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. A link to the edit I have reverted can be found here: link. If you believe this edit should not have been reverted, please contact me. ck lostsword|queta!|Suggestions? 16:15, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
- I did not vandalize page Dred Scott v. Sandford. It was 209.66.220.213 who added random letters to the page. I simply undid the edit. --24.136.230.38 16:22, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
Removed mistaken warning. Sorry! Spellcast 16:57, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
- It wasn't intentionally. I had the wrong person (I copied and pasted hastily)! I'm sorry if I removed content by accident. I'm trying to do the right thing! --24.136.230.38 16:46, 4 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Removing fair-use justifications
Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to :Image:Maxheadroomhijack.JPG, you will be blocked from editing. --Yamla 01:48, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
- I didn't think that what that user put on the image was needed, since the tag did supply a link about fair use. Maybe I was in error for removing content. I removed it because I haven't seen that list on any other image. Could you explain why you gave me a warning (you escalated it to three, you made it sound like I did it just to be mean, when I was just trying to help), and why the list is needed? --24.136.230.38 19:54, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Account
Hi there, I've seen your contributions are now (I think the above notice for fair use image-ness was an honest mistake) but you really ought to get an account! You seem sharp and on the ball with this Cummings removal-of-her-birth-name thing, and if you had an account you really good get a wikipedia-career moving! Please consider it :) SGGH 12:00, 10 April 2007 (UTC)

- I also fixed your little mistake on the Calvin and Hobbs article, you didn't delete any content, all you did was that you forgot to end the reference with the </ref> tag, so everything in the article beyond your new reference became part of the footnote and thus (as this included the footnotes section) disappeared from the article. We all do it, it's one of the most common mistakes on wikipedia. As I said I've readded the reference and ended it so that the article is working fine again. SGGH 12:08, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
- Thank you, I thought I had removed content since my browser likes to "censor" certain things (I have a long edit history about that).

- WP:FU and the license text itself requires that a detailed fair-use rationale be provided. I gave you a warning because you removed this information and so converted an image suitable for use on the Wikipedia with one that we could no longer use. --Yamla 20:19, 10 April 2007 (UTC)

- Ok, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to do anything harmful. I'm just glad someone corrected me before something happened. I'm not good with copyrights anyway. I think I'll just stay away from them for a while. --24.136.230.38 20:54, 10 April 2007 (UTC)

I think you should create an account on Wikipedia. Make sure to let me know what your username is when you do! To do it, click on Sign in/create account on the top of the page, and click "create an account". I think you will do well as a Wikipedia user. ;-) A•N•N•A hi! 01:23, 11 April 2007 (UTC)

- I suggest that you create an account as well just in case that someone else using this IP vandalizes pages. If this IP is blocked, your account won't get blocked if the block is an anonymous-only block. Amos Han Talk 17:01, 14 April 2007 (UTC)
- Well, actually, the earliest changes this IP used to make was by a different person. Now, only I just edit. He is not particularly fond of Wikipedia's inaccuracies and the way anybody may edit your contributions.

- Besides, you won't have to worry about intentional vandalism for now. I'm the only one who edits. --24.136.230.38 19:59, 14 April 2007 (UTC)
- Can I just add my voice to the throng in hoping you create an account soon - we need as many like you as we can get, and it helps to "have a presence" on here (I know first-hand - I fell unfairly foul while editing as an anon IP, and as soon as the errant block was lifted on my fixed IP, I formalised my editorship). Best wishes and keep up the good work. Refsworldlee(chew-fat)(eds) 00:19, 25 April 2007 (UTC)

- I can only give you the same advice, in regards to creating an account. Those warnings are from before this company acquired the IP address. Further harassment can and may be met with legal action. [Removed Personal Opinion] :) --68.207.117.147 00:24, 17 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Personal Attack and Vanalism on Pope Shenouda III of Alexandria page by User:TheLordIsNear
User:TheLordIsNear is personally attacking the Pope on his personal biography page because of his recent excommunication from the church. The events as he has described them is blantantly heiarcy. The Pope is the head of the Church, the professor is not. He is trying to twist around all of the work he has done for many many year because of his excommunication.
Please remove or use the edited version of what he has under the heading: Theological disputes and the 2007 Coptic Church crisis
He did this on March 28, 2007 just before the Holy Pasca Week to cause divisions and discredit the Pope. The Pope's biographical should not contain a personal attack from The Excommunicated Professor Habib Bebawi.

- I didn't rollback anything (only administrators or people with Twinkle can do that). I simply corrected a few headers. Sorry if anything was messed up. --24.136.230.38 20:50, 27 April 2007 (UTC)
