If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make any unconstructive edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant warnings.

[edit] American Idol/RIAA ceritications

Thank you for trying to make sure RIAA certifications were right on the American Idol page, but the four changes you made were incorrect based on RIAA's database of album certifications. http://www.riaa.com/goldandplatinumdata.php?table=SEARCH

RIAA certifications are based on units shipped not units sold. Thus sometimes the sales of the album are below the 500,000/1,000,000 threshold but since they shipped out at least those amounts they are certified Gold/Platinum.

[edit] 2008 Orange Bowl

Good points about the article. I've tried to scrub up the controversy section; let me know if that works better. JKBrooks85 (talk) 00:38, 15 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] AFD

Cease your vandalism or you will be blocked. Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? 10:06, 7 March 2008 (UTC)

Commenting on an ongoing AfD is vandalism? Wow. Time to grow up. 24.124.109.67 (talk) 10:10, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
Cool your jets, son. There are like 3 different versions of the AFD running around, and it's unclear to me which is the right one. But since you started it, and are writing from the cowardly IP address perspective, following up on posting vulgarities in other articles, I took you for a vandal. Imagine that. I've asked the admin to mark the article with the correct AFD and tell everyone to quit messing around with it. Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? 10:15, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, imagine that... accusing someone of vandalizing without ANY CONDUCT OF THAT NATURE WHATSOEVER. You are to assume good faith to avoid this type of nonsense. 24.124.109.67 (talk) 10:17, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
I read your previous vulgar postings, and I also saw that a registered user called your entry a "fake" and a "test". Maybe you should take your complaints to that user. Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? 10:18, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
My previous vulgar postings? What in the world are you talking about? 24.124.109.67 (talk) 10:19, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
See entries for March 6: [1] Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? 10:21, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
First off, I don't see anything "vulgar" about those entries. Second, has it ever occurred to you that IPs can be SHARED? wp:agf 24.124.109.67 (talk) 10:23, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
Of course you wouldn't. We're done here. Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? 10:27, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for stopping by. More pointless rambling....... 24.124.109.67 (talk) 10:28, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
Look, all he's saying is that he mistook you for a vandal and you really weren't. Sheesh. You can avoid all this drama by logging in. Editorofthewiki 10:10, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] New policy proposal that may be of interest

I'm tapping this message out to you because you were involved at the AfDs of Eve Carson or Lauren Burk. Following both of these heated debates, a new proposal has been made for a guideline to aid these contentious debates, which can be found at WP:N/CA. There is a page for comments at Wikipedia talk:Notability (criminal acts)/Opinions should you wish to make a comment. Thanks for your time, and apologies if this was not of interest!
