[edit] Welcome to Wikipedia
Hello 24.12.179.210, and welcome to Wikipedia! As an initial matter, thank you for taking the time to contribute to this project. Your continued input and support are appreciated. Also, please feel free to follow the Welcome page linked above, to get better acquainted with Wikipedia and the article contribution process. If you have any questions about getting started, please feel free to ask me on my talk page (although I do not contribute on Wikipedia that often anymore, I do my best to respond to sincere requests for assistance or information).
Also, if you plan to contribute on a regular basis, it might be advisable to set up a user account here. Some good reasons for doing so are outlined here, for example.
On another topic, I note that you have contributed substantially to the article on Sweetest Day, which I also edited recently. Although I am not an expert on that holiday, you on the other hand appear to have a good amount of knowledge on the topic, and I am glad you added the additional information set forth in the "Verified NEUTRAL FACTS ..." section.
However, I am concerned that perhaps some of the changes made to that article run contrary to Wikipedia's neutral point of view (NPOV) policy. For example, while I myself tend to agree with you that Sweetest Day is a contrived "holiday" of dubious merit (at best), nonetheless, it generally is not acceptable to edit articles such that only one point of view is asserted to be the only valid viewpoint. Also, putting phrases into section titles such as "Verified NEUTRAL FACTS," while renaming another section "The Contrived Industry Story," is frankly a straightforward violation of the NPOV polocy. Therefore, perhaps it would be better to rename the section titles to reflect a less one-sided stance.
In making this suggestions, it is my hope that you understand the spirit in which I am make them--not as a challenge or insult, but as a sincere attempt to bring the NPOV policy to your attention and to improve the Sweetest Day article. Again, if you have any questions or comments, please feel free to respond on my talk page.

Hello Ryanaxp and thank you for your edit. The "Herbert Birch Kingston" story of the origin of "Sweetest Day" is a fake story. Mr. Kingston, although listed on the 1920 Cleveland Census as a "Confectioner" disappeared from that census after 1920. Mr. Kingston was NOT one of the 12 "Sweetest Day Committeemen" who planned the details of "Sweetest Day." In my original edit I thought it best to leave the fake story intact so that people could see more clearly exactly how the Industies are distorting the truth in order to sell product. In addition to being a most insidious type of MASS DECEPTION, "Sweetest Day" is also a multi-billion-dollar FRAUD. Is it really possible to be neutral on this topic? The Industries involved in this deception need to come clean in order to help restore CREDIBILITY; especially American Greetings and Hallmark. Thank you again! RT
Hello again Ryanaxp! Thank you again for your edit. However, we now have 2 subtitles which say basically the same thing:
The Candy Industry's Explanation
-and-
Confectioners and Holiday Greetings Industries' explanations regarding Sweetest Day
This seems a little confusing (and thank you for your explanation of scare quotes). The point is that the Industry story is false/distorted/inaccurate. The movie/slideshow clearly demonstrates this.
Also, why did you remove the link to the movie?
Best regards,
RT
This is your last warning.
The next time you vandalize a page, as you did to Sweetest Day, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. . This campaign of yours has been going on for months, under different usernames -- enough is enough. NawlinWiki 03:43, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Sweetest Day
Enough is enough. People have been very patient with you... but you are waging a one-man/woman war. You need to stop with your POV-pushing and maybe, just maybe, find another topic to edit. Your absolute and unwavering obsession with this topic is rather unsettling. Captainktainer * Talk 22:13, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
