Well, if you go swimming in the sea, you can run into some species without even seeing them and they'll kill or disable you permanently with their poison. Coral, which makes up some of the most beautiful parts of the ocean, is made of cnidaria. And they don't have a separate anus, so when they go to the toilet it comes out of their mouths. For more, see Cnidaria. I don't know any more than that, as I'm not even a biologist - I just translated the article from German.
