[edit] Julianna Rose Mauriello

I suggest you take a look at our policy on what can be written about living people. Your own experiences are insufficient to be cited as a reliable source; IMDb is also not regarded as a reliable source. Because of the very real legal consequences to the Wikimedia Foundation of printing unsubstantiated information, it must be deleted, and it will be, and I would be perfectly justified, and have no problem, preventing those who reinstate it from editing here. Hope you understand. --Rodhullandemu (Talk) 11:19, 21 April 2008 (UTC)

  • With respect, you're the one who seems to be obsessing about this issue. Why is it so important to you? (Just asking before someone else blocks you). --Rodhullandemu (Talk) 11:49, 21 April 2008 (UTC)

You want to block me because I am editing something I know and you don't? Isn;t Wikipedia about anyone ebing able to edit, or is it only things you agree with? As far as anyone else blocking me? No, your the only person tossing that threat around...

As anyone could create a Myspace page claiming to be Julianna Rose Mauriello, it is also not considered a reliable source. I recommend that you familiarize yourself extensively with these guidelines. While it is entirely possible, what is the likelyhood that a 16-year-old celebrity has been married (to another female no less) and the mainstream media hasn't picked it up? With regard to your comments on User:Rodhullandemu: Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on contributors. Personal attacks damage the community and deter users. If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to WP:AN, you will be blocked from editing. TalkIslander 12:00, 21 April 2008 (UTC)

How is posting on the administrator board asking for help VANDALISM.

I can see that you are a little confused; let me try to explain simply. You don't need any help from administrators; any user can answer your question. While this actor may well be gay, Wikipedia isn't able to publish that until a reliable source confirms it. That's how we keep our information reliable; by not allowing users to add information that isn't confirmed by reliable sources. There isn't any rush; even if she hasn't discussed her gayness in an interview yet, that doesn't mean she won't discuss it in her next interview, and then you'll have a source to cite, and be able to add the information. There are lots of people in similar positions; Queen Latifah, for example, and Condaleeza Rice, and James Dobson, all of whom may well be gay, but until that's confirmed by a reliable source, our rules don't allow us to publish it. As a side note, when people try to explain the rules to you, insulting them is usually a bad idea; Wikipedia has a lot of rules, and even those of us who have been here for a while need things explained to us sometimes. -12:18, 21 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Final warning

If you are not able to calm yourself and stop making personal attacks, you will be blocked from editing. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 12:22, 21 April 2008 (UTC)

Amazing. 3 Administrators break rules on wikipedia. I break the same rules. I am told Ill be blocked. And not one single damn admin is told they will be blocked. I dont doubt any of you guys try to stay anon. I dont doubt you are all the same person.

Today seems to be your first day on Wikipedia, and most administrators are here for at least a year of regular editing before they become admins. Is it possible that you have not fully mastered Wikipedia's rules in your day of editing, and may have more to learn? -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 12:25, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 31h in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for abuse of editing privileges. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below. seicer | talk | contribs 12:33, 21 April 2008 (UTC)

That's unfortunate, but it always happens to users who are rude. That's why so many people tried to warn you. Fortunately, it's a short block, so if you want to try again tomorrow, with a richer understanding of the rules, you'll be welcome. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 12:35, 21 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Your recent edits

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button Image:Signature_icon.png located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 11:40, 24 April 2008 (UTC)
