23 Service Battalion

23 (Hamilton) Svc Battalion is a Combat Service Support unit of The Canadian Forces Reserve. Commanded by Lieutenant Colonel Rick Phillips, the unit has been in continuous service since 1965. Many members of the unit have served on various missions at home and abroad, including 8 members recently returned from Afghanistan, and 4 members on their way.
One division of the Battalion the transport unit has been known as " Two Tree Truck" in the past!
Trades offered by the unit include Vehicle techs, Weapons techs, Supply techs, Mobile Support Equipment Operators, Resource Management Support clerks, Cooks, as well as Commissioned Officer trades of Logistics, and Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.
