23192 Caysvesterby is a main belt asteroid with an orbital period of 1887.7273132 days (5.17 years).[1]

The asteroid was discovered on August 25, 2000.

This asteroid was named after Ashiyah Cays-Vesterby, of Washington state. She won first place at the Washington State Science and Engineering Fairs in both 2007 and 2008, and will be returning for competition in 2009 as a senior. The winning project for 2007, garnering her this asteroid was entitled "Biodiesel Fuel from Surf Diatoms." It not only won grand prize at state, but second in her category of energy and transportation at the International Science and Engineering Fair in Albuquerque, NM.
