Welcome to Wikipedia, 21mandy21! I am InDeBiz1 and have been editing Wikipedia for a few months now. I just wanted to say "Hi!" and welcome you to Wikipedia! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page or by typing {{helpme}} at the bottom of this page. I love to help new users, so don't be afraid to leave a message! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome!

[edit] Your recent edits

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button Image:Signature_icon.png located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 23:55, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Your comment to User_talk:SineBot

Actually, 3 tildes gives you just your name. Four tildes gives you your name and the time/date, which is actually very useful in identifying the timing of comments.

See?

The recent edit you made to User talk:Voice of All constitutes vandalism, and has been reverted. Please do not continue to vandalize pages; use the sandbox for testing. Thanks. Alexfusco5 00:03, 25 January 2008 (UTC))

Please do not vandalize pages, as you did with this edit to User talk:Flatsky. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing. Alexfusco5 00:07, 25 January 2008 (UTC)

Hey guys, for what it's worth, this appears to be a new user to Wikipedia whose edits may not be in bad faith. Issuing a warning for vandalism seems to be a bit extreme, at this juncture. A gentle guide toward the Sandbox or a placing of a welcome thread on this page might be a more suitable first step. Just my opinion, for what it might be worth... Thanks!--InDeBiz1 (talk) 05:05, 25 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy deletion of Lattes

A tag has been placed on Lattes requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Dethme0w (talk) 00:22, 25 January 2008 (UTC)

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you create an inappropriate page, such as Lattes, you will be blocked from editing. Dethme0w (talk) 00:30, 25 January 2008 (UTC)

Regarding this page, please read WP:OWN. You don't own your talk page. Dethme0w (talk) 00:31, 25 January 2008 (UTC)
I'd also like to appeal to you, since you seem to be on rather thin ice at the moment, to take a look at the "big picture" and ask yourself if the article was really appropriate for inclusion in an encyclopedia. It had only one sentence (making it too short and lacking in context to be an article) and that sentence conveyed an opinion rather than just the facts. Please read over what Wikipedia is not before creating any more articles.
As a service to anyone who might type Lattes when looking for information on caffe latte, I have re-created the article as a redirect to the existing article Latte. Dethme0w (talk) 00:47, 25 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Answer

See WP:OWN. You do not own any articles. I'm just saying, because if you keep saying articles that you created are yours, then the community will slowly begin to despise you. sure, they're yours in the sense that you created the page, but anyone else can come along and edit/request its deletion just as well as you can. Also, making incivil comments like that is against WP:CIVIL, so if you want to request its undeletion, go to the place where the page formerly was and click the word "deleted". This will bring you to the page's deletion log, where you can see the admin who deleted the page and why. (Wasn't Deathme0w, btw. He's not an admin.) After that, leave a comment on the admin's talk page calmly requesting that they undelete the page and move it into your userspace so you can work on it. Sound good? 'Cuz it's a lot easier than having the thing deleted over and over and over while you're working on it. I know from experience. Best, --Gp75motorsports REV LIMITER 19:05, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
