[edit] Summary
Found at: http://wiki.phantis.com/index.php/Nikolaos_Makarezos The three principals of the junta.. This picture has appeared in the front cover of all major Greek and international newspapers as in for example Vradini.Dr.K. 17:49, 7 May 2006 (UTC)
To address concerns raised I added the proper context to the picture captions to all articles they appear in. I made sure to add that: they appeared on Greek newspapers such as Vradini (Βραδυνή) and in one of their earlier outings together as they appeared on Greek newspapers such as Vradini. Later these joint appearances would become much more rare and the military uniform would be discarded for civilian clothes, in an ultimately unsuccessful bid to look like mainstream politicians. Dr.K. 14:46, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Explanation of fair use rationale:
It is a historical early picture of all three principals of the 67 coup in military uniform in the early days when they were still claiming they were the military that came to save Greece. Subsequently they changed their mind and decided to behave, sound and dress like normal politicians. However this change of uniform didn't work as intended. This picture, therefore, acts like a priceless military before to their ill fated political after.
Picture has appeared in National and international newspapers as explained above.
Cannot be reproduced freely.
It helps illustrate the issue of political engineering mission creep: They came in as (self declared) military saviours and were deposed as failed politicians. Dr.K. 17:15, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
