21 Demands are a Dublin based rock band. They formed in late summer of 2005 and straight away started composing original songs trying to fuse many genres (pop, rock, electronica) to form an original sound.band.[1] On the 9th of March 2007 the band made chart history by releasing a download single called Give Me A Minute which reached the number one slot in the Irish singles chart, making them the first ever unsigned band to reach number one, and the first ever act to reach number one in the Irish singles chart based on downloads sales alone. The band are currently working on their debut album, writing and recording in the studio every week. [2].

The band currently consists of:
Steven Garrigan (age 18) - Guitar, vocals and piano/synthesizer
Conor Linnane (age 19) - Bass
Mark Prendergast (age 18) - Guitar and vocals
Vinne May (age 17) - Drums

[edit] About the Members

Steven Garrigan: Steven is the lead singer and guitar player of the band. He plays the piano, guitar, mandolin and drums! He is a 6th year student. His hobbies include music and gymnastics. In the 2007 You're A Star in which the band were competing he was described as a young David Bowie by judge Linda Martin.He is a 6th year student in the institute of Education currently studying for his leaving certificate.

Conor Linnane: Conor plays the bass in the band. He is an apprentice electrician in Dublin Airport.

Mark Prendergast: Mark plays lead guitar and Backing vocals. His hobbies include music and basketball.

Vincent 'Vinny' May: Vincent is the drummer in the band. He is a sixth year student and plays rugby for his school team.[3]
