[edit] Java in Microsoft Windows XP
I saw on Comparison of the Java and .NET platforms that you added that Java was removed starting with Windows XP SP1a. Actually, the original release of Windows XP didn't include Java, but it was added back in SP1. It was removed again in SP1a. I'm not sure if installing SP2 over an SP1 install will remove it.
I don't know a good way of phrasing it on that page to make this point without it becoming too wordy. --Powerlord (talk) 03:01, 23 November 2007 (UTC)
