[edit] Sha Tin College Cafeteria

Hello and thanks for your question. I wasn't in a particularly good mood last night, and I was so used to seeing "CHARTWELLS SUCKS" and "THE FOOD IS CRUD" and things like that on the Sha Tin College article that I just removed it because I didn't feel that it quite represented students' opinions. Wikipedia is based on neutrality, really, and not what one or what a group of students think. It's true that the students' opinions differ. I would love to reflect the students' opinions on Wikipedia, but Wikipedia is based on not what you think or what other people think - instead, it is based on fact. Concrete fact. Something from a website, cited, would be a concrete fact. Don't exaggerate either, the principal clearly did say "one million dollars".

Otherwise, I think the article as it is now, is fine. I think the reason that the Cafeteria section had not been added until now was because people tended to go overboard with all their flowery opinions... Cheers --typhoonchaser 09:31, 12 September 2007 (UTC)

Also, position of Wikipedia editor - well, I don't do much here around Wikipedia. You'll see from my contributions that I pretty much do things that go unnoticed like removing the extra spacing and correcting typos, I don't really do major edits unless it's to do with things that matter to me, i.e. the College. It's not such a great thing to be a Wikipedia editor anyway, don't regard it too highly, I take it quite lightly, something I do in my free time. --typhoonchaser 09:39, 12 September 2007 (UTC)

Edit like I'm supposed to? I was just saying I was in a bad mood! If I saw what you typed that day and I was in a slightly better mood I would have deleted it anyway, maybe I'd have given it some thought but I would have deleted the "students don't like the food" bit. Please don't shout on my talkpage, it was free of caps lock before that. --typhoonchaser 09:51, 12 September 2007 (UTC)

I can tell we're going to be great friends at school, you know? I'm a freak, so what? I don't really mind, I just make small constructive edits, I don't see that as a problem. You're editing in your free time as well, vandalising my talk page... --typhoonchaser 09:52, 12 September 2007 (UTC)

That's your own talk page. My talk page is here. --typhoonchaser 09:54, 12 September 2007 (UTC)

Please don't go round vandalising a userpage. You were very civil at first, and that's the way to act here at Wikipedia. Thank you. --typhoonchaser 10:18, 12 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Your recent edits

Hi, there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button Image:Wikisigbutton.png located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot 09:48, 12 September 2007 (UTC)
