Please do not remove content from Wikipedia, as you did to Skopje (diff.). It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. - Evv 16:02, 21 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] External links

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites that you are affiliated with, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. —Khoikhoi 16:04, 21 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Edit summaries

Hello, thank you for your work on the interlanguage links. It would be very helpful if you entered an edit summary, like you or someone else on this IP address did in December. You could just paste a standard edit summary like "Macedonian language link added" or you could put the link itself in the edit summary, like mk:Бермудски триаголник. Besides the general benefits of using edit summaries, it would allow those who watch for vandalism to concentrate on other edits, especially anonymous edits, which are responsible for the vast majority of vandalism on the English Wikipedia. It is rare for an anonymous editor to use edit summaries, and it is extremely rare for an anonymous user who uses specific edit summaries to be a vandal. There are cases where an edit has a summary, but the summary itself is vandalism. Fortunately, those edits stick out in the histories of article and recent changes. Anyway, it's just a suggestion.
