Hi, please don't mass remove criticial links from Potter's House Christian Fellowship again, and please try and use edit summaries, particularly for such a controversial edit. (I guess you're affiliated with that church, but you're hardly convincing anyone that it's not a cult by sneakily trying to suppress any criticism of it.) — Matt Crypto 19:13, 12 November 2005 (UTC)
Hi there Matt, I don't really know how to talk to you any other way so I will post here! Perhaps you can show me some other way. Anyhow, it must be noted that the accusations against the Potter's House Fellowship have been mainly posted by 10 or less people who have since become obsessed with digging dirt about the church. I am all for critisim, but what they have done is down right immoral. For starters they ran a Yahoo group in which they pretended to be 100's of different people. A friend of mine exposed their IP's and thus revealing that they were having bogus conversations with other personalities, which were actually themselves. The shut the group down because of the embarresment. But over the years they have made up stories about people in the church, which I know are lies. I started a site called the pottersclub www.pottersclub.com, to refute their doctrines, and promote the biblical doctrines taught in the Potter's House.
They also ran a yahoo site which was "pro Potter's House" but was found to be run by Ken Haining, the head of the Slam the Door yahoo site that was shut down. He had about 30 other user names, and he had to shut the site down when their IP's were exposed. I have been called a homo, liar, **ckwit, looser, deciever, **cksucker, and have been threatened with violence by these people. I want Wikipedia to have information my church, but not the rubbish these peoplke come up with. Most of the accusations on the "cult" sites are from anonymos posters, which I can assure you are the same 10 people who continually try to create a "cult" label for the Potter's House. If you want to ask me anything, email me @ nick@goyebooks.com, also my name is Nick Sayers, and I am from Lismore Australia. Please excuse all spelling as I am in a Net cafe. Cheers
Nick
Another example Matt, is that the portion I am editing, I have tried to include a link that exposes the above, but that keeps getting deleted. Also the portion about the churches in Malasia, they tell a half truth, churches in the phillipines have about 400 churches in about 25 years which is amazing, but they only tell half the story. Malasia has about 10 churches. If I told you on a wiki page about cricket, and I said that Chinese people have not warmed to cricket, I must then go on to mention the other Asian countries that worship the games such as India and Pakistan. In mentioning the Malasian churches only, they create a half truth, thus the Potter's House is not as accepted as they would like you to believe. But this is a half truth. They also link to Rick Ross, which if you do a wiki or google search on the guy you will find that he has no credability whatsoever. Cheers

- Hi Nick, thanks for providing some explanation. You have to understand that when people persistantly attempt to delete the "criticism" section, then it looks pretty darn suspicious. If Potter's House were a cult (and I've no idea either way, to be honest), then members trying to suppress criticism would be exactly what you'd expect to see. However, in situations like this, Wikipedia does not try to discern the "truth" -- it tries to present both sides of a dispute (see NPOV). The only line Wikipedia can take is to document any significant criticsm, and to document any rebuttals of that criticism. There does seem to be some non-trivial criticism of your church, I'm afraid. What you can do is to present what you've just told me; that is, describe, in a neutral fashion, what the church's response to these criticisms are. — Matt Crypto 15:32, 26 November 2005 (UTC)
